I booked this place only going on reviews from what I previously read for a surprise weekend getaway for my partners birthday and I’m glad I did. I can’t tell you how lovely this place was and how accommodating the host is. I asked if possible banners could be put in the room for a surprise for my partners birthday and not only were there banners but also a bottle of wine and party poppers for us which was a lovely touch. The choice of breakfasts were delicious and as long as you let them know the evening before what time you would like breakfast, it was ready for you the following morning at the requested time. The town is only a short 10 minute walk away with a few pubs to stop in on the way. The guesthouse is also surrounded by beautiful walks. This is definitely a place I would like to return too.
