Staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Dan he made an effort to speak to everyone while busy working.Hotel was lovely and clean loads of mirrors for every occasion from a shaving,full size,dressing table and more.Breakfast was lovely with a great choice also the food in the evening that we had was great the loaded chips were amazing Would definitely recommend this hotel for a great stay

Had a really lovely and welcoming stay at the tilman hotel,staff lovely, especially ella who was really friendly and helpful with anything we needed,and dan the manager who was great too with his knowledge of the area and also couldn't do enough for us,brillient service all round,fab room,gorgeous food,brill facilities and lovely location,will defo return and reccomend

Having parking nearby is important to us as Mrs B has a disability and walking is difficult. Hotel very clean and also very helpful and friendly staff.

Great property, was hesitant in booking this place due to it being a bar and potentially noisy. It was so so quiet (we stayed on second floor) Room had everything we needed. All staff were great. If I was to return to Barmouth, I’d definitely book here.

From the moment we arrived we felt looked after by the warm and welcoming staff. The room was very modern but not characterless. Great breakfast for both veggie and non-veggie tastes as well. Make sure you try a few of the cocktails if you get the chance.

Friendly staff, lovely food clean and tidy

The property was very very clean, had a nice view of the sea from our bedroom. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and so so friendly. Breakfast is probably one of the best breakfast I’ve had since our stays within Barmouth.  Looking forward to going in Easter with my family. Thank you all again at the Tillman.

Have stayed here before and will stay here again.  Great experience from checking in to checking out.  Staff are friendly, helpful and generally lovely.  Rooms are clean, well decorated and furnished.  Shower is spacious and powerful. Breakfast is included and there are a good number of options, excellent! A great bonus is the free parking in a secure car park.  I have nothing negative to say, very happy 😊

Always Excellent

Stylish, well-appointed hotel in Barmouth town centre. Spacious and comfortable rooms include thoughtful bonus features such as quality coffee in a bag and even have a selection of books to peruse.Fluffy towels and double-headed shower with overhead and adjustable heads in our room.Inventive breakfast range extends to salmon and cream cheese bagels, kippers and even eggs with ricotta cheese - in addition to the usual cooked options - and there's a nicely-presented buffet of cereals, fruit, pastries, too.

Blown away by the breakfast!

We were glad we chose to stay here. We felt it was good value and clean and comfortable. Convenient central location and nearby secure parking all handy for town, beach and mountains.Modern, stylish ‘industrial look’ bedrooms,.. excellent Linen etc and nice toiletries and added extras (milk and cans of spring water etc.) Downstairs ‘shabby chic’ bar area with a relaxed vibe. All staff were friendly and welcoming.

We stayed in a beautiful deluxe twin room on the 2nd floor at the front of the property.The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated. There was a good selection of hot drinks and biscuits, as well as complimentary still and sparkling water both available in the room as well as available in a small fridge on one of the landings. The hotel car park is just around the corner.Check in was quick and efficient.Lovely comfortable beds and good quality pillows. Breakfast was gorgeous. A great selection of several hot dishes from the menu.Beautifully presented.Small selection of cereal, pastries and juices for self service.Staff were friendly welcoming, chatty amd helpful throughout our stay.Would highly recommend this accommodation as a place to stay in Barmouth.Right in the centre near all the shops, easy walk to the beach.

We were on the second floor there was no lift. Our room was at the rear of the property which was next to an Indian restaurant and so we had the extractor fan which was running until 11pm and started again at 8am . The property was very clean and the Staff were excellent particularly at breakfast time.

The Tilman is a very smart,contemporary small hotel located in the centre of the lovely town of Barmouth.The bedroom was spacious,scrupulously clean and very nicely designed and in excellent condition.Very good provision was made for drinks including water,fizzy orange and tea and coffee(with real milk).I would have no hesitation in recommending it as a good place to take a break.

Lovely relaxed stay in Barmouth.

We love Barmouth and visit a couple of times a year.  We stayed at the Timan for the first time at the beginning of November for the fireworks. We had such a good time that a few days after we returned, we booked to come back in March!  The Tilman is stylish, comfortable, well maintained,  clean and hosted by the fabulous Nadine.  All the staff were really friendly and helpful but Nadine goes the extra mile. After we checked out on our first visit, I'd left my phone charger in the room.  Later that morning, Nadine spotted us walking past, grabbed the charger and ran to find us. She found us in a shop further down the road and handed us the charger! What a star!! 

I can't leave a review without mentioning the breakfast...amazing!!  Really easy going with cereal, juice, pastries etc. My husband prefers warm milk on his cereals and that was no trouble. We both followed up with full cooked breakfast. The best we've had anywhere in the world!  

When we come to Barmouth, we'll always keep coming back to the Tilman. Thanks to Nadine and the team!
