I've stayed here a few times and never disappointed. On the edge of Rainhill village with plenty of amenities and train station giving you around 25mins trip into Liverpool or Manchester.

Excellent first stay. Lovely setting. Polite service at check in and at breakfast. We'll definitely be back.

Booked for a rugby game ,real close ,room was nice ,huge tv ,had a drink in the bar ,gorgeous place full of character ,breakfast was lovely and presented nice ,staff were nice ,few things in room missed by the cleaner but we are not too picky as we got the room for a bargain deal ,would use again

I stayed at the Rainhil Hall on the  22/01/2025. I really enjoy my stay. The hotel was lovely the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and i had a very good nights sleep. I had dinner at the restaurant which was very good. I also had breakfast in the morning also well worth it. Overall i was ver pleased with my stay. When i go back to see my granddaughter i will definitely stay there again.

The whole experience was outstanding. Big room full of character and spotlessly clean. Walk in shower excellent. Great breakfast and staff throughout gave me excellent customer service. Well recommended. Never managed to walk the grounds hence my middle marking.

Unexpected upgrade on check-in was entirely unexpected and was appreciated, although I didn't know what to do with all the extra space.

Nice hotel in nice surroundings. The bed was soft but that is personal preference. The room was clean and big. Friendly staff. Good for a few days. Though I would get breakfast somewhere else as I found the full English bacon dry and the amount of food for the price compared to other hotels is a bit over priced.

Nice hotel

Cute little find , as need a nights stay due to snow. Grand venue and location perfect 5 mins off m62 but very quiet.booked a superior double and got ann upgrade to a lovely spacious room. Only had a problem with no hot water which reception sent maintenance up to sort issue out . The other issue is the bedding was very very light I would say a tog 7 summer so was a bit chilly. Staff really friendly nice and polite , breakfast was also great veggie breakfast top notch .

The building is lovely and the location is great.i know we paid hardly anything for the room but it was not fit for purpose .The staff were lovely and gave us a different room with a comfy bed but the room is massive and only one small electric heater working .The hot water despite running for 25 minutes was Luke warm so no shower or bath for us.The decor is very eclectic with everything painted gold and padding on the bath panel .Overall fairly clean but the room looks tired and in need of some tlc.I have been told there have been a few changes of ownership which may explain that .Have not tried the food went to the lovely pub over the road .So for the money it was ok but not happy that couldn't shower and was so cold in the room .

Could do better.

A GRAND building with plenty of heritage features. Large car park. Room had comforable Queen 4 poster bed, high ceilings, big windows, en- suite, wardrobe & tea/ coffee. All Lovely for Summer/Autumn, but I'm not sure how it would be in Winter?  Very efficiently run Resteraunt and bar serving great food, breakfast/lunch/Dinner.  We would stay again through the Deal scheme.

Grand & good value

Have stayed here couple of times before so know the hotel is lovely.  Wasn't so impressed with our allocated room this time though.  I booked a luxury room and expected it to be a little luxurious, but unfortunately it wasn't.  Room was quite small and narrow and a little dated and the window didn't open at all which made the room really stuffy resulting in condensation dripping on to the window sill in the morning.  overall lovely hotel, but expected more for a 'luxury room'.

Beautiful property, room was lovely we stayed in the bridal suite. Only issue we had was took awhile for the hot water to come on. Other than that lovely pleasant stay . Unfortunately we had to miss breakfast the second morning due to having to travel back in the morning and breakfast being served later on a Saturday but the breakfast was again lovely

We had an amazing weekend at the Rainhill hotel and Spa. From Friday to Monday morning. Staff Caitlin at the desk was amazing. We changed our room on arrival without any stress. Clean room with massive space, jacuzzi, toiletries, dining area and TV screen were spot on. We hosted 20guests for a evening dinner party in a private room on Sunday and everyone loved the food. Staffs attitudes and care towards us and our guest were exceptional especially Beth who was very friendly and helpful. Caroline was another staff who went above and beyond, we had great experience in general. I would highly recommend this hotel for any events and couples getaway.
