Very friendly staff, they couldn’t have been more helpful. The breakfast was excellent and they were very tolerant of our (almost) 2 year old granddaughter! Would highly recommend   The rooms were very comfortable too!! 

I booked Elnor Guest House at fairly short notice for a 3-night break and was very impressed. A very affordable and simple B&B, with a really warm welcome from Ted and his mum, lovely comfortable bed (I was in the downstairs single room), great shower, and absolutely delicious cooked breakfasts! The location is excellent — right in the middle of Liskeard, with free off-street parking and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and public transport. Would definitely recommend to others and would be happy to stay again some time! Many thanks.

A very clean, well appointed hotel.  We had a lovely double room with en suite, television and tea and coffee making facilities and a very tasty full breakfast in the morning.  A short walk from Liskeard train station.  

As a family staying with 2 very young babies, would highly recommend this establishment. 
Sue and her son are extremely welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much.
Rooms are clean, fresh and comfortable with good onsuite facilities. Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. 
Breakfast was lovely, and they even catered for the 2 babies (all inclusive of the price). Extra tea and coffee supplies for the room are also available if you need to replenish. 
Private car park to the back, and despite being on a reasonably busy road noise was very limited. 
Close to the train station and also the town centre.  
In our opinion this establishment is a keeper, and we'd definitely rebook for future travels to visit family and friends. 
A real gem, and highly recommend.

Had a great couple of nights here for a birthday celebration and a good base for visiting many places .Room was clean and light and lovely breakfast.Short walk to pubs , restaurants and centre of town .Nothing was too much trouble and Sue and her sons Ted and Jamie were great hosts and very friendly.Hope to return in the future.

Great guest house, could not fault it. Very friendly owners, nice clean room, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, good location close to town centre, will definitely stay there again when in the area.

I stayed two nights in Elnor Guest House. I can only confirm the consistent high opinion of previous reviewers. Sue and her son Ted  were most attentive and very knowledgeable of all local amenities. My single room though small was most suitable to my requirements. Basic refreshment of teas and coffee were provided. I would recommend Elnor Guest House to any prospective people considering visiting the area.  Breakfast was exceedingly good on both mornings.

We stayed at the Elnor Guest house a couple of weeks ago for a family weekend away.
Booking was super easy & there were lot's of communications before arriving to ensure we had all the info we required before arriving.
We were greeted on the day and shown our rooms which were very spacious - We had a double ensuite for myself & hubbie & the triple ensuite room for our 3 teenagers.
The double was a good size with wardrobe, drawers & a small shower & room with toilet. We had tea & coffee facilities, iron, hairdryer etc so everything you would require.
The triple room had a double bed & two single beds which was perfect for the teens - Their ensuite was slightly bigger & according to the teens - the shower was amazing! hahah!
We were offered full "cornish" breakfasts (Full english) each day & they took our requirements the night before so they could prepare & we booked a time to eat.
Breakfast was lovely - super delicious, cooked to our liking & on time. We were given more tea/coffee if we wanted and the hosts were super friendly throughout our stay. They advised on places to go, things to see & the local amenities which were only a short walk away.

We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you to Elnor Guest House for making our stay comfortable & enjoyable.

Lovely stay at this guesthouse, very nice lady and son who run it.Excellent breakfast and superb coffee. Room was very clean and bed was comfy. Close to shops and restaurants. Would recommend any time.

Welcomed by Sue and Ted and spent four nights, it was always friendly with a good breakfast and coffee in the morning. They were both hard working and hospitable. I couldn't ask for more and wouldn't hesitate to use the Elnor for future visits.

Traditional B&B guesthouse with relatively new mother and son owners. Owners are kind and attentive and breakfast was very good. Small single room but it was fine for my purposes, very good shower (sometimes you can wee quicker, but this one was very good). Wi-Fi was patchy but in an old building with stone walls it's to be expected

I had to stay in the area for one night on business. The B&B is easy to find, in a quiet part of town and just  short walk to the centre. I was able to use the free car park. I was warmly welcomed and shown to my room and the locking system and window arrangement explained. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was excellent. Basic tea and coffee facilities available (I always take my own!). the wifi was perfect.I found an excellent Nepalese restaurant in town and came back for an excellent night's sleep. I didn't have breakfast as I had to leave too early but all in all this place worked for me and I will stay again when next working in the area.

Just what was needed

We stayed here Saturday and Sunday night. Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. They explained the policies and procedures of the guest house and showed us to our room. We were in room 3 which is a twin room. The room was well presented, clean with modern decoration with a bit of class, with a sea theme for the bathroom and sink. The beds were the comfiest beds that we have stayed in for a long time, and as soon as we got into bed we pretty much fell asleep within 10 minutes. The shower was wonderful and clean. 

Breakfast was amazing and very tasty, well cooked and well presented. Pot of tea and coffee was more than enough for each of us. 

We both recommend the Elnor guest house to anybody. We are definitely recommending to our friends and family. 

We will be back to stay the next time we come down. 

Thank you for being very accommodating and friendly for the duration of our stay. You really made us feel like we were in a home from home. Keep up the good work 😊😊😊😊

Wonderful stay in a lovely gem of a guest house

sue and Ted have been great hosts. Warm greeting from arrival and throughout, really got to know them. Lovely bright clean rooms with everything you need. The breakfast is freshly cooked which you order for the next day. Great location for all of Cornwall and West Devon, not more than an hour to most places. Liskeard also has everything you need, even a wetherspoons. Would definitely rebook for out next trip to Cornwall, missing them already

Lovely and friendly guest house

We received a very warm welcome from Sue and Ted on our arrival.  Our room was clean and had all the amenities we needed.  Beds were comfortable. Guest House was quiet at night. Great location for the town, only a few minutes walk. Liskeard is a very pretty place.  We even found a bit of history in the town with the Pipe Well. Secure car park. Delicious, very generous breakfast. Thank you for a lovely stay.
