Amazing view of the Dales from the lovely seating area on the patio.  Great breakfast each morning to set you up for the day. Plenty of nice eating places in Leyburn, we had Sunday lunch at the Black Swan which was very good. Had a lunch stop on another day at Hardbanks Barn on the road to Hawes, tasty light lunches served and amazing ice cream which is made on their farm.

We stayed for 2 nights; everything was absolutely wonderful. The room was cosy with a beautiful view, and had everything you needed, lovely breakfast provided, and great service overall. Would definitely recommend for a couples break, and I look forward to returning!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the conservatory was amazing. There was a great choice at breakfast. Great location to explore the local area. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Oak Lodge for 2 nights from 20th July 2021 and would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed in Birch, which, like the whole place, was immaculately clean. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was great. The view from the conservatory and garden area was wonderful.

Lynne was a great host; friendly, professional and attentive.
Breakfast was excellent.

Oak Lodge couldn't be handier for Leyburn and was a great base for exploring the nearby attractions.

I couldn't fine any complaint about Oak Lodge and wouldn't hesitate to return..

We had the twin room which had a fantastic little private conservatory. The room was lovely and modern and immaculately clean with extra wipes re covid. The room was lovely and warm too. Great tea/coffee in room. 
We had a fantastic welcome from the hostess at breakfast and a really tasty breakfast. Lots of individual little things like little milk bottles and home made fruit salad which wasn't too cold so really thoughtful. I had the best scrambled egg I've had in years here! Thank you so much to the owners - just lovely.

Just had 2 night's stay here and it was absolutely amazing we stayed in the birch room with it's own little conservatory area wich looked on to the garden . The room was very clean , comfortable and large it contained a big king size bed,  a tv on the wall . Two large wardrobes one with a small fridge in wich had 2 bottles of water and some local milk in . A very large bathroom with a walk in shower and little toiletries and a good hair dryer . Plenty of mirrors in the room to get ready in and plenty of plugs . The patio looked straight out on to the garden area . It was lovely to sit and watch the rabbits and wild birds truly relaxing.  BREAKFAST  absolutely delicious . Tried the full English great but my favourite was home made porridge delicious.  The hosts lynne & john are very welcoming and good hosts asking if theres anything they can do for you or if you need anything.  Honestly would not hesitate to stay here again and well recommend to all 

We went to Oak Lodge for a 3 day break with friends and were not disappointed. 

Oak Lodge is in a fantastic location being in working distance to all local amenities and also a great base to explore the dales. Hawes, Aysgarth falls to name but two of great places to visit. The B&B itself is fantastic, the room was great with a fantastic walk in shower and the nice touch of a fridge stocked with milk for tea and coffee as well as bottled water was really good, on top of this the ever cheerful Lynne serving a delicious breakfast every morning. My wife left her charger for her watch, rang Lynne who kindly posted it back to us with no fuss or cost, how good is that!!!!

We fully recommend the Oak Lodge and will definitely be Back, Thanks Lynne & John for a wonderful stay

PS They now also have a self catering cottage which is of the highest standard which we will be looking to book at some point in the future!!

This b and b is excellent in every way great location great views rooms food hospitality,little touches like chocolate and an information book were appreciated we couldn't fault any of it we would definitely recommend and will stay again

My partner booked a room at Oak Lodge for 3 nights for my birthday and it was by far the best B&B we have stayed in. The rooms and breakfast area were spotless with everything you could possibly need provided. We personally found the mini fridge in the room to be extremely handy as this meant we could take picnics on our long walks every day and also have fresh milk for tea & coffee. There was also a safe provided. We were in the oak room and the room was plenty big enough. There was more than enough choice for breakfast and according to my partner the full english was amazing. Lynne was the perfect hostess, full of local information from walks to restaurants. She also gifted me a bottle of wine and a card for my birthday which was lovely! The views from our room were amazing and being a minute away from the town centre was ideal. The B&B felt very safe and COVID aware. We would definitely return here when holidaying in Yorkshire in the future. 

We stayed here as two couples on a Saturday night , the B&B is in a fantastic location ,with spectacular views. Upon arrival Lynne welcomed us and showed us to our rooms (Holly & Oak) both of these rooms were immaculately clean and full of lovely little touches ,great selection of tea & Coffee ,biscuits with chocolates ,mini fridge containing fresh milk and cold bottles of water , lovely fluffy towels in the bathroom and beautiful toiletries . The beds are beautifully made with a selection of cushions ,always nice when snuggling in with a cup of Yorkshire tea. The room also has a Netflix TV ,safe and ample size wardrobe and hairdryer .
Breakfast on Sunday morning was also a delight, continental to help yourself , yoghurts ,fruit, cereal and juice then there is a hot breakfast option , I opted for the scrambled egg with smoked salmon on a muffin which was beautiful, lovely creamy scrambled egg , whilst the other 3 went for full English ,plenty of toast and hot drinks. 
Overall this is one of the best B&Bs we have ever stopped in and will defiantly be back .

Only one night in this B and B but wouldn’t have minded a much longer stay 
Room was very nice and the little conservatory attached to room to provide a great view of the beautiful Dales just made it extra special 
Breakfast set us up for day and eaten in breakfast room which again provides best views ever of Dales
We had our eve meal in Bolton arms which was a 5 min walk away and would recommend that venue as well

As part of a Wedding myself (best man), my wife, bride and groom all stayed here and Lynne did not just go the extra mile but an extra 100 miles to make the stay special it is close to central Leyburn and the views are fantastic.  I would recommend this to anyone visiting that area because they are the best :-).

100% amazing!!!!!

We were visiting the North Yorkshire Dales but were not sure where to stay.  We settled on Oak Lodge in Leyburn and couldn't have been happier.  Our room was seriously comfortable and came with a little outside terrace where we could sit and enjoy the wonderful views.  Breakfast was delicious, and our hosts lovely.  We also found that Leyburn is very well situated for exploring the area and we had a lovely week.
