A nice room, a lovely owner who does everything herself, spotlessly clean and a great breakfast.

Our hostess Karen was lovely which made our stay at Tirah all the better. We would love to stay there again

We had a lovely time staying at the B&B, Karen is a great host. The room we stayed in was lovely, with beautiful views over the fields. The breakfast was everything you could want and more.

The most amazing place to stay - would highly recommend and definitely return.

A lovely property, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Very tasty breakfast with a great range of options. Bathroom had grab handles and property was well adapted for anyone with limited mobility. We would really recommend

Superb B n B. A lovely warm welcome from Karen who made sure we had everything we needed. The room (8) was spotlessly clean. The super king size bed was so comfortable with lovely quality linen and pillows. We also had two very comfortable armchairs for watching the good size television. The shower was powerful and lovely products provided with nice big towels. There was a kettle and a mini fridge with a generous selection of teas and coffees. The highlight of our two night stay, however, was the lovely breakfast, The first day we had traditional English breakfast and the second day we had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Both were absolutely delicious and served in a lovely modern kitchen dining room. This was the perfect base for us to explore Suffolk for the weekend. I would highly recommend.

Tirah guest house is a fantastic place to stay. It is clean, comfortable and Karen is a lovely host. Would definitely stay again.

The host Karen was so welcoming and couldn't have done more for us to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Everything was perfect and we would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to visit the area

Superb B n B

Tirah is an amazing bed and breakfast - very clean throughout and comfortably decorated. We had a room at the back which was very quiet and overlooked a beautiful rose garden which Karen was more than happy for guests to sit in and enjoy. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom with a lovely en-suite. Comfortable large bed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a large choice of fresh ingredients. Would thoroughly recommend staying here. 

First class!

Fantastic B and B. The room was absolutely spotless and had great facilities. I needed early check in as I was attending a wedding and my request was easily accommodated. The breakfast had a wide selection and was very very tasty. Highly recommend anyone considering staying here. The only thing I would advise is that if you aren’t a driver, pre book all of your taxis throughout your stay. It is nigh on impossible to book one within two hours notice.

Fantastic stay and good value.

The house was spotless, fresh and full of light. It had a very peaceful feel. There were many considerate details that made a difference such as a small fridge for milk, a rack for all the spongebag items, a fold up table. I was a single traveller and was offered a double room rather than a twin. It was very convenient for Aldeburgh and easy to reach Minsmere and Southwold. Excellent breakfast.

Absolutely fabulous B&B, from the moment you arrive you are made to feel at home. Karen the owner is lovely and thinks of everything to make your stay perfect. The room was beautiful immaculately clean, comfy bed, power shower and amazing views overlooking the garden and fields beyond. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. I really cannot recommend this B&B high enough, would give it more than five stars if I could.

Simply Superb

Tirah Guest House is truly the nicest place we have stayed.  Karen our host was so lovely and nothing was too much trouble at breakfast where there was an excellent selection including delicious locally sourced sausages. She also gave us some recommendations of places to visit.  Our room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and quality bedding.  Great parking space and perfectly located between Thorpeness and Aldeburgh.  We would highly recommend Tirah and hope to return ourselves one day.

Perfect Getaway

Peaceful setting with high standard, spotlessly clean accommodation. Karen is a great hostess offering a wide selection of breakfast items.Room 8 would benefit from a table light on the desk and a wider quilt on the super king size bed.A word to the wise: Due to the amount of wildlife (deer, large and small, badgers and hedgehogs) in the area driving after dark can be hazardous.

Ideal base for exploring the local area.

We had the best time at Tirah. We received a very warm and friendly welcome from our host Karen. Our room was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice and very well presented. We will definitely stay there again in the future and would highly recommend this beautiful B & B.

Best B&B we have ever stayed in.

Just enjoyed a wonferful 2 night break at Tirah guest house . It didn't disappoint and lived upto it's exceptional reviews. Karen was very welcoming abd infirmstive, room was spotlessly clean and with all you need for a wonderful stay. Breakfast superb. Tirah very well located for nearby Aldeburgh  and Thorpeness and so many public footpaths and off road cycle routes to enjoy.

Exceptional place to stay

What a lovely place! Very easy to find, even at night.The host was very welcoming and helpful.Room was spotlessly clean, warm, and comfortable.I had a lovely nights sleep, the room was very quiet.Breakfast was freshly cooked, with quality ingredients, and kept me going until evening.Highly recommended.
