Good hotel room for a very reasonable price, and the restaurant is top drawer

Lovely hotel with rooms above an Italian restaurant within walking distance of Loughborough town centre. Staff were also lovely and very helpful and welcoming. Meal in the restaurant was also lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Last minute booking, and there was only 1 room available. It was a gorgeous room, with luxurious features, including a 4 poster bed, and free standing bath. The restaurant is an authentic Italian and the menu was sublime, which oozed quality - both in the ingredients and presentation, all served very attentively. The breakfast in the morning had plenty of continental options too, a full English was an optional extra.

Arrived late in the day and the hosts were very welcoming and we settled in quickly. Very nice and spacious room and we were accommodated for food in the restaurant without any fuss at all.

Clean, comfortable, very accommodating, delicious food in the restaurant. Free parking!I had an early flight and the owner allowed me in before check in time.It was a hot day and room was very hot but they had a fan in the room which eased the heat slightly

Great stay at Caravelli. Room was beautiful and food in the restaurant excellent. Continental breakfast in the morning was good. Rooms are above a restaurant so no check in area per se. friendly staff and onsite parking. Great central location for visiting son at uni.

Very friendly Italian restaurant with rooms. The room was comfortable and a good size, but was adjacent to the toilets the restaurant guests used. I came out of my room a couple of times just as men were coming out the gents which was a bit off putting.The room was clean and comfortable if a tiny bit dated.The food and the service in the restaurant was very good although i was a bit sad to find myself eating alone for most of my meal in the annex  as the restaurant was I assume full.My biggest complaint was that the music while dining in the annex was very loud, but I felt a bit too embarrassed to ask them to turn it down, two ladies were also eventually shown to a table near me and did ask. It was a lot more bearable then.Breakfast was a continental buffet whcih was fresh and very nice.Overall a very nice place to stay and very easy with the restaurant downstairs.

Small hotel with four rooms, continental breakfast was included but wanted an extra £12 for cooked one. Unfortunately no toilet seat in the bathroom, reception said there were unaware so curious to what the cleaner had done.Finally the WiFi password was written in little upper case characters instead of lower case.

Fantastic visit & thoroughly enjoyed my time spent there.Staff were attentive, caring & couldn’t do enough. A great business trip and I would recommend anyone working in the area for a few days to stay here. - however.The car parking at the rear was very tight and due to my early starts it wasn’t helped by other staff/residents blocking my vehicle in plus the rear car park is difficult to reverse into made worse if you have a larger vehicle.

Fantastic service & wonderful staff.

Lovely atmospheric room. Good size. Modern ensuite with good quality towels. Nice toiletries. Big comfortable bed. Reasonable tea/coffee tray (I always mean to remember to take extra tea bags!!!) Good continental breakfast included with option to pay for cooked. Small parking for free which was a bonus. Well positioned to walk into town. Warm and pleasant staff without being crowding. Would stay again.

Had an overnight stay last night, we had 2 rooms one for us & another for our son. Quick easy check in.  Both rooms were really well appointed, comfy beds, nice bathrooms & really clean.  We all had a full English breakfast that was freshly cooked to order, really tasty.  We didn't eat in the restaurant as were out at a function but the menu for the restaurant looked amazing. A great little find & would recommend.

Fab little find

I had a fantastic stay at Caravelli. The room was nice and cosy, and although it was very hot, there was a fan which I was able to use to cool the room down which I really appreciated. The bed was also comfortable! The bathroom was quite small but still absolutely fine. The service was absolutely fantastic, especially at breakfast.

I didn’t want to stay in a large hotel and found this restaurant with rooms for an overnight stay in L’borough while on business. Also an opportunity to have supper with my son who is at Uni in the town. What a fantastic find! My room was lovely - clean, well equipped and comfy, with lots of character. The food we ordered for supper was delicious and served with many smiles - just so nice to be out and enjoying ourselves. Thank you to the team at Caravelli - I’m

A really great find…

My husband and I visited Caravelli for a meal as we had heard that the food was very good and we weren't disappointed. We had a warm welcome and a nice table by the window looking out onto the church. 
My husband chose his favourite king prawns to start which he said were excellent and I had deep fried goats cheese with caramelised apple. Delicious! Then he had surf and turf, with scallops and king prawns and I went for sea bass. Both were just how we like them and although we were feeling full, we couldn't resist the home made desserts made by Anna, although it was hard to choose what to have as all were so tempting. My husband chose Biscotti cheesecake while I managed a panda cotta, both followed by coffee and a Limoncello! We were stuffed! 
Although a little pricey, we felt it was worth the hour's journey to this gem of a restaurant. The service was excellent along with the food. We would be happy to return.

Excellent Italian Restaurant

An amazing little boutique restaurant and hotel hidden away in the centre of Loughborough, the wonderful super friendly and highly professional staff and management left us with an amazing experience that my wife and I will cherish forever.￼
Our stay at this quaint hotel has been thoroughly magnificent, Set within an historic building, the hotel boasts a character master bedroom with a grand fireplace, open bath and very romantic four poster style bed. 

To top it off, the authentic Italian food is 2nd to none and I highly recommend a visit to this wonderful place. 

We’ll definitely be back regularly!
