Quebecs

I absolutely enjoyed my long stay at Quebecs and knowing what I know now, would’ve made Leeds/Quebecs my base and stayed here the whole time. Having been employed for over a decade at a historic private social club, I immediately knew as I saw the hotel’s red terracotta exterior & mahogany interior that it could’ve only been a former club at some point. And indeed it was formerly the home of Leeds and County Liberal Club, as appropriately marked with a blue plaque to the far right of the frontage. Despite arriving early in the morning from Newcastle, I was warmly greeted by Editha who quickly secured my belongings until returning to check-in in the afternoon. My double guest room was immaculate, Quebecs’ lovely housekeeper always made sure she reset & replenished supplies & tea daily. The full brekkie was more than hearty and set me up for the day. Mabel saw to it and took fantastic care of me at breakfast. I have yet to experience The Porter’s Lodge today, their cozy bar on the ground floor. Overall, praise is due to each and every member of staff at Quebecs. I am more than delighted about my accommodations and rather sad to be leaving tomorrow. Thank you all for your excellent service and warm smiles. I look forward to returning soon and directly book with you from now on.
