Stayed in room 1 and 2. The views are incredible and such a beautiful garden. From the property, we went on a hike to Blencathron and the Cumbrian Way, which was spectacular. The village is really lovely and quiet, wild rabbits everywhere and also a great pub, The Horse and Farrier. The room was clean and more than adequate for us. The beds were super comfy and it's nice that they have a microwave, toaster and kettle in the room, as well as a fridge and some plates and cutlery if you do want to eat in the room. We slept like logs as it's so quiet. We would definitely stay here again as it's a short hop to the main towns, yet none of the hustle and bustle.
