Very hospitable, spotlessly clean, and the host had grown up in Keswick and gave me great advice about where to go. I even extended my stay I got so comfortable.

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable. My room was cosy and the breakfasts were excellent. Would like to stay again. Many thanks!

A lovely little b&b. Perfect for our walking holiday. The hosts were super attentive and always so helpful. Umbrellas were available to borrow which was very handy. The breakfast was delicious! The bed was also really comfy and the road wasn’t loud at all. We slept really wellOverall I would highly recommend

What can I say about my stay - the review box would not be big enough !!  Wonderful little place to stay, clean, comfortable, amazing breakfast, everything I could possibly have needed But more importantly, Alison and Chris are superb hosts.  It was just like staying somewhere that I’d been before They were just so friendly and helpful and accommodating Lovely to chat to and very knowledgeable about the area and where I could go visit I will definitely be visiting them again Highly recommend

Lovely stay in Keswick

Great warm welcome from Alison and John, I wanted to be based centrally in the lakes for a walking trip without spending a fortune and Lindisfarne ticks so many boxes.  Clean, comy bed with a small TV, shower, tea / coffee facility & towels though wierdly expedia said there was neither?  Room itself wasn’t very big but cant complain as its a value B&B.  You aren’t getting better value really without bringing the tent over!Breakfast was fantastic for the price too, would stay again!

Fantastic b&b run by a lovely (and very dedicated) couple - miss waking up to Alison's breakfasts! Was taken exceptionally good care of and no request was ever a bother. They were always on hand for recommendations of where to visit and the room would always be immaculately turned down by the time you got back from a long day trekking around the lakes. They clearly take great pride in their business and enjoy what they do. Would be delighted to come back here in the future (hopefully sooner rather than later!)

Fantastic b&b run by a fantastic couple

I was very impressed with the quality of the decor and the furnishings and the decor. There was such a lot of attention to detail. Everything had been thought of. There was an excellent choice for breakfast and my room was even serviced with my bed remade and my pyjamas neatly folded. Better than most hotels.

What a great find.

Excellent friendly service. Very clean room and dining area. COVID safe.Good breakfasts. Excellent location. Just away from town so it's not busy but close enough to walk down in 5 minsRoom was ideal for what I needed.My only slight issues were bed could be a bit more comfortable and even with window closed there seemed to be a gap so was drafty when it was windy. Not enough to mark it down.

Great cheap little stay!

This was a last-minute stay, and we were delighted with Lindisfarne. The room was comfortable, we had a lovely welcome from Alison, excellent breakfasts, and Chris went well beyond what was expected in giving us a lift in the pouring rain to the bus satation. We higly recommened Lindisfarne, which is conveniently situated for the attractions of town and lake, and certainly hope to return. We were glad we didn't come by car, the only downside is parking!

A brillian B&B

The owners of Lindisfarne House were extremely accommodating and friendly, felt very welcome during my stay. Room was on the smaller side but met all my needs, so no genuine complaints. Clean and well presented. A fabulous view of the Fells from my window (I was on top floor) Full breakfast provided and included in payment which was lovely. A great location only minutes away from Keswick town and a short walk from the Lake Boat Launch but quiet and peaceful in the evening. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to go walking around Derwentwater!

Enjoyed my stay!

We stayed for a triathlon and it was a great stay. Easy check in, comfortable room and really friendly service from the momemt we arrived. Arrangements were made to support a ridiculously early wake up for my race and it was everything I could hope for. Short walk to centre of Keswick and a quiet area for a decent night of sleep.

Fantastic Stay

Spotless clean, nice decor in keeping but not aged, very good breakfast, a friendly host, perfect location to see Keswick on foot.One thing, the bathroom to our en-suite has a sliding door which left a gap on both sides when closed of about 1/2”.Consequently, we had to use the common bathroom.A pity really, as every else was good quality.
