We know from regular stops for coffee/wine that this hotel is in a stunning location with spectacular views and easily accessed from Keswick. We had a chance to stay and had a thoroughly excellent time. We had been forced by circumstances to change our first reservation date but changing it could not have been easier. Our room was in an annex and was so comfortable and warm - we felt so relaxed. Evening meal was excellent as was the fabulous quality breakfast with such a fabulous view. So importantly, we had interactions with 5 different members of staff and ALL went out of their way to help. Each window has a view of a birdfeeder and this was a pleasure to waatch - so much activity. We walked around Derwentwater from the hotel - so wwell located. Really really happy with our stay.
