Lovely stay , lake view room and centrally located.

Perfect last minute get away. Great value for money in the heart of Bowness at a very reasonable price for the weekend night away .

The property was perfect for our needs, very clean and lovely spacious room (3) it was good to have parking outside too . We would definitely return and would recommend to anyone 😊

This was my first time in the lake. The Hotel was in a great location loads to do ideal if you struggle walking up hills. It was clean and comfortable and car park access was good. They had a kettle with coffee and tea which is always nice. The people who owned it were lovely and the price was fantastic.

We have stayed 3 times at White Lodge and it is excellent in all the above

The property was excellent, and the management was incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The white lodge hotel

Lovely hotel and lovely friendly owners who even greeted us on arrival .Lovely location however felt the place itself was a bit tired looking …. No nice toiletries and all the coffee sachets had sugar in .We couldn’t see the stunning view due to excess condensation to the inside of the window.There was no bath plug either .

The room was amazing, super comfortable and had all amenities. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating of additional requests (we wanted to keep our bags at the hotel after checkout for a few hours) and they arranged everything. The location was great, with buses running from in front of the hotel and a row of restaurants right down the road. The lake is within walking distance as well. Will definitely return :)

Amazing place

Arrived at the property and found ample space to park the car. We were greeted by Jenny the owner and she gave us the keys to our room explaining which key was for the propertys front door and which was our room door key. We found our room to be well presented and clean and the room had lovely view of Windermere being on the top floor. The Lodge was within walking distance for all the  amenities like shops restaurants etc. Overall our stay was great and we would recommend the property for anybody wanting a shortbreak in the Lakes

Lovely clean fresh and bright room. Owners friendly and helpful. Only a few minutes walk from the lake and a range of interesting restaurants and bars (for which the owners had helpfully provided some useful recommendations - two of which we tried to great success.)
Free parking onsite at front of hotel is a welcome addition.

Great mini-break

Brilliant location 10 min walk to pier pubs shops restaurants on the way down , check in easy and quick staff very friendly we only had the basic double which would have been fine for one night as it was basically an ensuite bedroom nowhere to unpack or hang clothes still great value for money but nxt time will upgrade to larger room if staying more than one night

I was greeted by Jenny when I arrived at the hotel. She was very polite and friendly even though I did not follow the check-in guidelines which was to call the property 24-hours prior to arrival. On top of that I arrived to the property later than I expected due to never disappointing train travel delays. To my surprise, I was even given a room upgrade as I booked four nights. 😉 The room was clean, and neatly made. It had a view of the big lake which was bonus. Long story short, I would recommend staying here. The property is also a stones throw to some good restaurants, pubs, post office, bus access points, and of course the Bowness Pier.

Home away from home.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely cosy hotel, our room was very comfortable, shower was good as was the bath. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well both nights. It was very quiet. 
Breakfast was brought to your door in the morning at a time convenient for you and was really nice, choice of cereal, hot roll, yoghurt, juice, tea or coffee. There is a kettle with tea, coffee and milk in the room too. Wifi was good.
Our host Jenny was super and very helpful with walks in the area.
All in all I would definitely recommend staying here. 
Don't let the signs of building work outside put you off..it was not an issue at all.

Lovely Hotel

We have just returned from a two night stay at The White Lodge and it has been lovely.  The bedroom was warm with a  comfortable bed, the breakfast was delicious - made with quality ingredients, the location is brilliant (very central to Bowness and Windermere) and the staff were friendly and attentive.  I would 100% recommend and not hesitate to return 

A lovely winter break 

the studio has its own kitchen with appliances you would need, and the room was clean and tidy and fairly big. There were two armchairs and table and chairs. The bathroom had walk shower with an electric shower. I was very quiet so had a good sleep.  We declined the breakfast as we like to have a cooked breakfast so went somewhere else. Parking was okay.
