This place is a gem in the Highlands! David and Lynn are the nicest hosts, and everything has been wonderful, from the beautiful location to the breakfast with anything you could wish for. They provide a form to fill up with your breakfast preferences (veg option very appreciated!) in addition to standard breakfast items, which I find very mindful and smart. The rooms are very cozy and clean, and they have a nice common area with a beautiful view of the river. Yeah, walls can be thin, but the place is very peaceful, so nothing that earplugs can't solve, but again, our only night there was very comfortable. Hope to stay there again!

Breakfast was fantastic. Room was small but comfortable. Easily accessible by car. Cosy and lovely lodging.

Our one night stay wasn't long enough. Great hosts, large comfortable well appointed room and lovely view. Good breakfast. Its a little out of town so you need a car.

Lovely place room had lots of space breakfast as amazing.  We loved it there.

The view from this property is magnificent.

The breakfast each morning was amazing! 10 pounds per person and worth it. David and Lynn were friendly hosts. There’s a communal sitting area with a fireplace that we hung out at in the evenings where we were able to meet other guests from around the world. Overall it was a great stay!

Remote, but well worth the drive. It was so peaceful, and close to the fairy pools!

great breakfast, great location but ultimately not worth £120 per night. my biggest issue with this property is the parking. if you have a small car, easy! but we have a large car & getting through the small entrance & exit way was a difficulty every time plus the trust we put in the other guests to not hit our vehicle was large.

Charming, quiet, and not far from town. A little hard to find using GPS, but owners send a detailed email on how to get there. Breakfast is only available for one hour, so if you need to sleep in past 9a you’ll have to find somewhere else. There is a co-op grocery about 10 min away for prepared food and such, but there are no facilities at Loch Eyre to prepare anything. Not even a microwave. That would be nice to see even if it were in the common room where there is a small apartment sized fridge to put drinks. I would stay here again and would recommend giving it a try. Quaint, limited services

While there was an issue with our room, the management handled the entire situation perfectly. They not only found us a room with one of their sister guesthouses which was in the middle of the city but also refunded the entire trip. They were extremely professional and helpful though the entire process.

Great Customer Service!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to discover the isle of skye! The house is just incredible, especially the bug room with the fire place, where you  unwind after a day of adventure & travel! The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, and gave us great tips to explore the area. Amazing stay overall, highly recommend!

Simply the best!

Nice big common area for relaxing in the evening with lots of big windows for a lovely open view of the loch below.  Excellent central location for exploring all of Skye.  Very clean, nicely decorated.  Emily and Adam are the nicest hostess and host, just wonderful, made us feel like we were their only guests and I know they had a full house!  Room was on the small side but was clean and comfortable. Nice en-suite bathroom with shower.  Definitely would stay here again.

What a lovely stay we had at Loch Eyre House on Isle of Skye! The small hotel had a very welcoming feel.  The decorating was modern and suited my tastes perfectly. The front sitting room was extremely enjoyable - so cozy at sunset! The staff was very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was very nice. I enjoyed the welcome book with details about the owner's favorite things in the area and their story. I highly recommend staying here!

Had a very pleasent stay. It was in a calm and nice place. But you really need to have a car to drive around. The closest restaurant are in the town Portree. But it only takes about 12 minutes of driving. Also close to Fairy Glen, wich was amazing. Nice clean rooms and a lounge with an amazing view over Loch Eyre. Great breakfast of your own choice. Recomend  it!

Calm and nice place.

Emily and Adam were excellent hosts and would definitely return.  They made breakfast earlier than it should of been one morning to suit our day which I thought was really nice and helpful.  They were were chatty and made us feel comfortable. For anyone looking for somewhere relaxing and nice to stay I would recommend here.
