The owner am his wife are really friendly and kind. Our room had a great view and everything one could need. We stayed for 2 nights. You can decided if you want to have breakfast in the morning: tea or coffee, fruits, ham, salami & different kind of cheese, toast, rolls, yoghurt… and you even can have fried or scrambled eggs. Price: 8£
We did a roundtrip on Skye and therefore the B&B had the best location: 15min to Old man on Storr, 15min to Dunvegan Castle etc..

In you want to go out for dinner book a table in advance otherwise it‘ll be hard to get one. But there is also a big Coop in Portree when coming from the B&B.

A wee way out of Portree but a good road and a quick commute.  The location makes up for it.
We had the small room (all that was available) and it was perfectly adequate.  There is access to the large lounge and dining area.
Clean and tidy.
They offer a Continental breakfast, but with eggs, for an extra £8 pp, very good value. 
Hamish and Josephine are lovely hosts, nothing was a bother.

We'd stay here again if ever we were back.

While this location is small distance (and I mean small) from Portree, it makes up for it with the view, comfort and feeling of calm that you get at Skeabostview.  We absolutely loved this place and started calling it "home" when talking about our trip.  The location is great for day trips around the Isle of Skye.  We would definitely stay here again.  

Had a wonderful experience at Skeabostview B&B.  The bed was the most comfortable one I slept on in Scotland and the room was extremely clean.  No details were missed including individual whole milk creamers for coffee in the room which I truly appreciated being that I was on vacation and tiring of skim milk in my coffee upon waking. The view was amazing and Hamish was so friendly and informative about the local area. We are hopeful to get back there again one day! Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. Don't forget to see the Pictish/Carved  stone within walking distance from the house!

Very nice B&B with an amazing view. We stayed in a double room and twin room. The bathroom of the double room was very spacious and amazing shower water pressure. The bathroom of the twin room was quite small. Very friendly staff. We felt very welcomed. Both rooms were very clean.

Had a marvelous stay with these wonderful host. Just book it you will not be disappointed. Great location and a nice view from your room. Skye is a truly magical place. Just ask Hamish for local places to eat.  We loveed the Galley  so much we went twice.

Hamish and his wife Josephine could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. We stayed two nights and would gladly have extended our vacation if possible. The B&B is immaculate, comfortable, and centrally located on Isle of Skye. The beds are super comfortable and the view is so peaceful. Delicious breakfast with many options. We have nothing but praise for this B&B.

We took my 83 year old mother for a short break in Skye. We couldn't have wished for a nicer welcome from Josephine and her husband. They are such lovely, warm and friendly people. So accommodating and enthusiastic. It's a real home from home. Beautiful views from the front bedrooms too. They recommended somewhere for dinner and also a lovely route to drive around to make the most of the time we were there. Thank you so much, we would love to come back.

Firstly, its is not a hotel it is a B&B. An excellent one- clean, great facilities inc wi-fi/ TV/ Lounge/ Info and the service/ hosts are friendly, helpful and professional.
We arrived early evening after our dinner reservation in a Portree restaurant had let us down [closed with no warning] the owner arranged for us to get a dinner in another restaurant at short notice.
Great location in central Skye for walks/ drives and visits to Dunvegan castle, Portree, The Quiraing, Fairy Glen and others.
Will definitely put this place in our 'return to' list.

We stayed a couple of nights at this B&B and had a great time.The setting is wonderful and the views from the deck are amazing. Hamish and Josephine are brilliant hosts and made us feel very welcome. Our rooms were very comfortable and the breakfasts were superb. It is a perfect location for travelling to all points of Skye being a few miles north of Portree.

What a view!!

One of the best experiences we had staying in Scotland

Beautiful view from this B&B about 10 minutes from Portree. It is conveniently situated just off the main road to Uig where you get the ferry to the outer Hebrides. 
Everything was well organised and I would have given a 5 star but the rooms are very small with not much space to put 2 suitcases and the shower also very tight. 
Hosts Hamish and his wife Josephine were delightful and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent-Continental style with lots of fruit, yogurt, breads, 4 cereals, herbal and black teas as well as coffee and the best thing for the Aussies reading this, Vegemite!! Parking was very easy outside and there is an ancient standing stone nearby and the fascinating St Columba’s Isle within walking distance.

Very clean, well organised B&B

We loved our short 2-night get-away on the Isle of Skye and this was a perfect place to call home. We chose the smallest most budget-friendly room and it was indeed tiny... but immaculate and comfortable. Our budget = our choice. Kind of lousy weather so we didn't have an opportunity to enjoy the grounds but the location was ideal - about 10 minutes outside of town (Portree). Nice, simple continental breakfast. Very gracious and friendly host. My only frustration was his lack of suggestions as to where to eat dinner. Most hosts have a list of their favorite spots and are more than willing to recommend area restaurants. Perhaps he was being diplomatic but we would have loved a solid recommendation. 

Skeabostview B&B is Quiet and Friendly

Enjoyable stay in this lovely location. Compact bedroom was fine, and large bathroom with great water pressure. Rooms at the front of house have the landscape views. Breakfasts were help yourself continental style, plenty of juices, fruits, cereals, yoghurts, breads etc all very fresh and was a good start to the day.
