This place is so cute and nice.  The gentleman that greeted us at the property gave us some excellent recommendations for eating and shopping.  The next morning he had our breakfast all ready.  This was one of our favorite stays in Scotland.  Would definitely stay here again.

Fraser is a wonderful host. Very attentive and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The breakfast choices are diverse and delicious. Plant milk available if you are non dairy. There are fresh flowers in vases everywhere, especially in the breakfast room. Charming, inside and out. Short walk to the town center.

A really comfortable stay. Just a 10 minute walk from the centre of town, in a quiet location. Spacious room with all facilities needed.

Fraser is the best host. We mentioned hiking as our goal.  Fraser provided several very interesting and appropriate hiking locations. His locations were perfect. Fraser also served a delicious breakfast. Great place to stay!!!

The property was wonderful, the breakfast was excellent. Great location, walkable to everything and quiet. The best part was the host Fraser. He was very attentive and gave us so many great ideas for things to do and see! He really knows and loves the area. I would highly recommend this inn.

Fraser was very hospitable. He accommodated our late check - in A nice note and instructions to order breakfast, which he had promptly ready when we made it to the dining room. Breakfast was delicious and he was very friendly to talk to.

Nice B and B in Inverness. Fraser was helpful and professional. Place was great. We traveled without a car and the place is a 15- 20 min walk from city center and train station. It is a pleasant walk across the Ness river.Just be aware of check in and check out times as it is a small B and B and not a hotel. We are giving the stay a five star review and highly recommend it!We do have some suggestions :We found the room a bit chilly . The windows were east facing in our room . The very early to rise May Scottish Sun had us waking up in panic that we had overslept!!! Black out drapes would be a lovely addition to this nice place.We would have no hesitation in booking this place again!

What a beautiful house. Very warm welcome from Fraser. Very knowledgeable about the area, restaurants, pubs etc. the room we had (3) was excellent. Very spacious and very clean. Excellent bed, great 2 nights sleep. Bathroom also very clean and spacious. We didn't have a cooked breakfast but cereal/toast & coffee, at no charge.
The guest house is ideally situated, round 1 corner from the walkway along the river
I'd recommend the Ballifeary without any doubt. We will definitely return.

Brilliant...

This was a wonderful place to stay! Very clean and safe. It’s easy to walk to downtown from here where the pubs and shops are. Fraser is friendly and kind and full of suggestions for things to do and see in Inverness. The breakfasts were delicious. If you’re a dog person his dogs are super friendly and sweet. I highly recommend Ballifeary Guest House.

Very nice guest house to stay in. Good service; rooms very clean (but very small). All rooms upstairs so need to take luggage up the staircase. Also, no restrooms downstairs where breakfast is served. Owner was "on call" but now readily available upon entering establishment -- had residence in another part of the building I believe. But very hospitable and helpful-very friendly.

Comfortable Stay 

This is a very nice, well-kept guest house. My room was comfortable, if a bit small. Breakfast was very good. You pick a time and order the night before and when you arrive, your table is ready. I appreciated that pancakes and berries were on the menu. There is a short, pleasant walk to the River Ness and downtown, with a great view of the castle. The owner was very helpful with directions. 

Very Nice

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of our GGW walk. The room and bathroom were lovely, very very clean and lovely quality furnishings. It’s also in a great location, not far to the city and restaurants etc and very close to the Eden centre (recommend a visit).
Breakfast was great and we assumed the time slots were to help balance the cooking times and potentially still reduce the risk of Covid or similar. It was not an issue for us, although I see some have commented on it. The food was lovely.
Fraser was happy to share recommendations for things to do and definitely helped us stick to nice areas for our walk to the coast to compete the full C2C walk. Very much appreciated.
Highly recommend a stay if yo7 are in Inverness.

Lovely stay

Ballifeary is a beautiful home.  Fraser is the consummate gentleman.  He gave us great ideas for places to visit in the area.  The main part of town is only 5 - 8 minute walk and he knew all the best places and the need to make reservations.  Each morning we received a delicious breakfast which we chose from a menu the night before.  It was ready at the time we chose to be in the dining area.

Beautiful house in a great location.

This house is Absolutley beautiful. We were welcomed by our host Frasier, who immediately made sure we had dinner reservations as it was a busy night in town. Also, he was helpful in figuring out our travel plans for the next morning, as the bus schedule was wonky due to Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. He also gave great suggestions of places to stop and enjoy “real Scotland” in our onward travel. The room was beautifully decorated and immaculate, the bed comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. I would highly recommend!
