Excellent apartment.Great location - on the beach (Walkable distance to Fort George).Grocery store at 2 minute walk.Loads of maps and information provided for holiday makers to plan their stay better.The host, Paul personally came around and checked on us. Based on our requirements, he gave us some valuable suggestions that helped us get the best put of our stay in Ardersier

This apartment was stunning - beautiful views out to the Black Isle and beyond.Lovely and quiet tooHosts were superb, excellent communication and the milk/tunnocks teacakes were very much appreciated after a long drive

The owner, Paul and his wife were fantastic! Our train was delayed and stuck between stations due to lightening taking out the signals. Paul went to the store and left us milk in the fridge so we could have tea when we arrived.  We also met us there later to show us how everything worked,  took us behind the suires to show us where we could buy stuff as well as where to eat.

Just returned home after a wonderful stay at Dolphin Bay , accommodation first class and views amazing, we were on first floor no 2 , 
Paul was very welcoming and nothing seemed to be any bother to him , he has a wealth of Knowledge on the area , 
Sally keeps the apartments spotless and homely with a nice welcome tray , we will definitely be back , thanks again to you both ,

Simply amazing place to stay with breath taking views across to the Black Isle. Quiet village location that has every amenity you would need, if not there is a Tesco superstore about 8 miles away in Inverness. Great base to chill and relax after a day off tourist activities. The owner Paul cannot do enough to help and is rightly proud of his property and what him and wife have achieved. Will definitely be back.

These apartments are amazing . They have everything you need for an excellent stay.The owners can’t do enough for you. Paul is so helpful. The ground floor is brilliant if you have mobility issues. The rooms are spacious and well laid out . They are light bright and airy . It really is like home from home . The views are stunning. We saw dolphins at a beach a little ways down the road. There was a fairy forest to visit. Fort George is close to visit. Hope to go back soon

Booking process and welcome by Paul was exemplary. It's clear to see that Paul is an experienced hotelier and very skilled at making sure you have all you need on your holiday. 
The apartment was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We stayed in room 8 and enjoyed superb views of the Moray Firth toward the Black Isle. There was milk, coffee and tea and Tunnocks tea cakes in our welcome pack, a kind thought.
Ardessier (Ar-dess-ier) is a small village but does have some amenities, we found the R.S McColl shop very handy. There are two pubs - one that has wood fired pizzas on Friday night. There is a fish and chip van that calls on a Tuesday - it must be ok as the locals were tucking in their takeaway on the picnic tables at the bay.
The bay itself is 2.5 k long with a flat wide path alongside the beach. Good for a morning or evening stroll. There are a variety of seabirds, including Razor Bills, Curlew, Oystercatchers and Black Guillemot, and one of our neighbours had spotted an otter!
The Dolphins were showing at Chanonry Point on the Black Isle and the best time is between an hour before high tide and two hours after high tide.. It's a Pay and Display site and busy so get there in plenty of time. There is a nice bakery in Fortrose a little further on towards Cromarty and a great like cafe that serves good meals at Rosemarkie.
Other things worth seeing, the beach at Nairn (good beach cafe that serves things like Thai fish soup!) Cawdor Castle (lovely gardens) Culloden Battlefield and little harbours such as Burghead (the Bothy is a great restaurant). We missed out on Findhorn and a whiskey tour. Next time!
We drove around Loch Ness, and no doubt it's impressive, our tip is to do it by boat. You don't see much by car, it's just a green tunnel! Uruqhart Castle is worth a visit.

Was fortunate to find DBS after we were double booked elsewhere. So glad we did as our Mon to Sat stay in apt 9 was an absolute treat. The accommodation was ideal for a couple and the location is perfect to use as a base for exploring Inverness/ Black Isle/ Moray coast. The view from the balcony and gable window were constantly changing and never disappointed. The apt was clean and well appointed. the only minor niggle was the fridge being small and floor level. But overall we could not fault the DBS and would thoroughly recommend it!

We were warmly welcomed by Paul on arrival, he then assisted us to take our luggage to the first floor flat. Double bedroom & twin bedroom . Large bathroom with a cupboard containing washer/dryer, iron, ironing table and drying rack. The kitchen/lounge diner was well equipped with all you need from a kitchen. 2 comfy chairs a sofa and TV, then the balcony with chairs & a bistro table and the view over the bay! Bliss! The bedlinen and towels were changed at the end of our first week there, which was great . 
Paul is very enthusiastic and prepared to help with anything you might require and was able to give recommendations for places to eat locally.
A definite 5 star place to stay.

Stayed in apartment 9 top floor with balcony nearest to the sea with amazing views. The apartment was well equipped and very clean.
Paul was very helpful with information about the area and places to go.
Would have  loved to stay longer and plan to go back in the near future.

Everything you need - plus that view!

Everything was absolutely fantastic.  From the quality of the greeting, the luxury of the apartment, the stunning location and views, everything was absolutely perfect.  Paul and Sally were brilliant hosts.  Amazing balcony with views across the Moray Firth, sunsets are incredible.  This is a great base to explore all of the Highlands, from the city of Inverness, around Loch Ness and the lovely beaches at Findhorn and Nairn.  Highly recommended and cannot wait to return.

Lovely second floor apartment with fantastic views along the Morray Firth to Inverness & The Black Isle. Right by the beach, with easy walks. Apartment has everything you need. Owner friendly & helpful. Ideal location for touring around including Nairn, Cawdor Culloden & Loch Ness. Throughly recomend.
