We always enjoy staying at Marriott’s Autograph Collection hotels, as each property is unique while still delivering a consistently high level of service. The Glasshouse in Edinburgh is no exception. Its striking design blends history and modernity—the entrance is a preserved old bank façade surrounded by a sleek glass building. Admittedly, navigating the property can feel a bit like a maze, with its mix of floors and hallways connecting different sections of the building. But that’s really the only criticism we could make about our stay. The service more than made up for it. The staff welcomed us warmly and went the extra mile to get us into our rooms early after a long overnight flight. The bartenders were excellent, offering creative drink suggestions, and the rooftop bar is a must-visit. Breakfast service was another highlight—the waitstaff were attentive and friendly, never letting our coffee cups go empty. Overall, The Glasshouse delivers the kind of charm, comfort, and top-notch service that make the Autograph Collection special. A great choice for a stay in Edinburgh.
