Excellent location in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town: minutes from the Castle, the Edinburgh Writer's Museum, Waverley Station, links to the airport and a wide range of places to eat. I'd recommend spacious, stylish room 322, which has a charming, tiny annex overlooking atmospheric Anchor Close, where Rabbie Burns himself used to socialize with the 'Crockallan Fencibles' a convivial club noted for 'gude companie'. We particularly appreciated the very helpful, professional and welcoming front of house staff when we visited 13th January, and Daniel the Duty Manager who went the extra mile to assist us. Highly recommended.
