Raywell Hall Country Lodges

Lodges are lovely, a real home from home, modern decor and appliances and outdoor hot tub to relax in. Woodland walks are so peaceful, great for kids and dogs. Our beagles noses loved it! Supermarkets nearby if you want to make your own meals or there is an onsite tearoom and bistro if you prefer to eat out.

Spend 4 nights in the Spa Rhapsody lodge it was clean and spacious. 4 bedrooms, 2 at either side of main living area with own bathrooms works well. Lodge had some brilliant features including pool table, retro games machine ( which the boys loved), an out side table tennis table and hot tub. The outside space was enclosed and safe for the 18 month old grandson. Staff were friendly and helpful and would definitely come back

We spent a lovely 4 nights relaxing at Raywell lodges with a hot tub. Our lodge was lovely and clean and a lovely outside area. its a beautiful site the Tea room   and bistro is perfect if you don't want to travel out for a bite to eat. We had a lovely day in Beverley plenty parking in the train station. And we had a drive over the Humber bridge. We would definitely recommend Raywell lodges hopefully go back again soon

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, very well thought out lodge with excellent amenities. Great on site Bistro serving a good range of food for all, we had breakfast and a dinner there and both were great. Everything was very clean and hot tub was lovely, can’t wait to go again,

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Raywell Hall Country Lodges. The lodge was superb, very clean with everything you need and the hot tub was amazing and very private! Very comfortable king size beds enabled a great night's sleep too! The lodge is situated in a very peaceful location and we found the whole stay very relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed our midweek break in this Spa Driftaway lodge .
The lodge is excellent and comfortable,outdoor space is fantastic,there is a hot-tub,day-bed ,table,and also a covered seating area.
I’d definitely recommend a walk round to the on-site tea rooms,meals were fantastic and reasonably priced,the service was also second to none .
Will definitely be coming back again soon,hopefully in the spring.

We haven't even got there yet - But if the location and lodge is as good as the customer service provided by the staff at Raywell (Alex in particular) then we can't wait to get there - Fantastic customer service

This was our 2nd time at Raywell. We stayed in Spa Freedom. Everything was lovely, the lodge was clean and beautifully presented. We loved the games table and arcade. Also, we had a very nice walk, even in the cold weather. Overall a lovely week.

We have been going to Raywell yearly now for last 7 years. Have stayed in many different lodges, each one has been fantastic. Lodge has always been clean and cosy. Love the tea room on site we always go at least twice for breakfast. Lots of nice restaurants to visit close by and we always go for a day out in either York, Beverley or Hull. It’s total relaxation and we love looking up at the stars from the hot tub. Can’t wait to go every year. My only request would be that they need to put non slip shower mats in the showers as they are very slippery and someone is going to fall. Other than that everything is fab. See you again next year.

We booked Raywell as a short getaway for our 9 year anniversary and what a treat it's been! Before we arrived we were worried about the proximity of our lodge to the others but that couldn't have been less of a problem... we haven't seen a soul! 
Arriving and collecting the keys couldn't have been easier, plus the hot tub was ready and the bubbles were chilling 😁 We loved walking through Nutwood with our two furbabies and couldn't be happier with the facilities in the lodge itself. 
Although we haven't seen anyone, we how much is being done behind the scenes to create such a great experience 🥰 Thank you to everyone that made our stay possible!

Great romantic break!

Stayed Mid Feb 2023
4 couples in the Utopia Lodge for a weekend break, Friday  to Monday, First impression was it’s a bit small, but that’s probably due to other places we’ve stayed as couples in the past being much larger, but to be honest it was roomy enough and accommodated us just fine and was very cosy, there is plenty of space and seating outside and if the weather had been warmer we would have spent most of the time outside. We had a nice big jacuzzi which you could lay down on one side of it, table tennis and a day bed, the outside space was all lite up in the evening. We had a couple of problems, one was under the kitchen sink was leaking, things like this happen can’t be help, we told the young maintenance guy who was testing the jacuzzi, he had a look at it but it needed a new seal, we also mentioned a few other issues we had , we needed another pan the cook with and we only had big knifes for chopping, no peeling knifes, got to take my hat off to this lad he was straight on it and sorted us out in no time, nothing was too much trouble for him. Another maintenance guy came later to take a look at the leak as it had got worse, he had to take the shelve out and put a bigger bowl down, this didn’t cause us any inconvenience what so ever, I’m just stating that the staff on the park were quick to get things sorted and they were really friendly and helpful, the guy even came back with a couple of bottle of prosecco and some extra towels, which we all thought was lovely.
There’s L shaped sofa that seated us all just fine and a big TV, which was easy to use, the dining table converted to a pool table, the 4 bedrooms were spacious, 3 of them were ensuite with shower, 1 bedroom was next to a bathroom with a bath no shower, there’s two double beds and two rooms with two singles in each, the beds were really comfy everyone of us said this.
We had an absolute fantastic time here, loads of laughter, lots of chilling out, loads of home cooked food, my friend even made a Sunday dinner for 8 people. There’s a lovely walk over the road, a nice café/tearoom/pizza place on site, I would 100% recommend this place.
Just a few recommendations for the owners
THE BIN, maybe have one large bin for general waste and a big tub near the door for recycling, could have it sat in a wood crate, so it doesn’t look unsightly, the bin was a nightmare, it filled up too quickly and you could only put a few bottles in the recycling part, we were emptying it 3 times a day.
OVEN SWITCH, its located near some light switches at the side of the fridge, someone accidently turned it off so the oven wouldn’t work, eventually we worked it out so maybe put a sticker on it stating that’s it’s the Oven switch.
KNIFES we only had a bread knife and chopping knife and slicing knife, which were blunt apart from the bread knife, maybe have them sharpened and have the cleaners check if there is anything missing.
COFFEE CUP there a coffee machine with some coffee pods but no cup, the cups in the cupboard are too big to sit under.
As I said before we had a fantastic time here, we really did enjoy ourselves, it’s a lovely site, lovely lodge and lovely staff members.

Annual Weekend Away

As a couple, we stayed in Spa Serenity for 7 days in January 2023. This was our 6th visit to Raywell Lodges and our 2nd stay in Spa Serenity, we simply just love it here! We normally stay Friday- Monday but this time we stayed Friday- Friday and we preferred this as we felt like we were just settling in on Monday. The lodge itself is located on Side A (our favourite side) of the site, it is close by to the reception and Millers cafe which is exceptional. It is also overlooking a field which usually has horses in it but they weren't there this time! Only this lodge and the ones next to Spa Serenity have the privilege of the gorgeous views you have of this field. The lodge was spotless on arrival and it has everything you may need in it such as kitchen utensils, dishwasher and washing machine. 
In the lodge, they leave a folder in there with information of the local area such as places to eat and where to find the shops and recommendations of different walks you can go on or activities to do. We went shopping at Waitrose in Willerby which is a 5 minute drive from the lodge site, there is also a B&M, Iceland, Aldi, Lidl and Mcdonalds here too. 
Millers cafe on site, is a must! The food and service here is amazing. It is recommended that you book to visit due to how busy it can get!
We also visited the local Toby Carvery, there wasn't much to rave about there. Service was average, food was ok but don't think we would return on our next visit. Mashed potato tasted like it was being kept together by glue. 
In terms of activities, we only visited The Deep which is an aquarium in Hull, it is a 20-30 minute drive there but we loved it! It is unlike any other aquarium I have ever been too. It has huge sharks, turtles and penguins! If you like that kind of thing, I'd definitely recommend that! 
Most days were spent relaxing in the hot tub, which was well maintained with fresh water on arrival. 
Couldn't fault Raywell! 
A special mention to Alex at Raywell too. My partner accidentally left behind his Macbook pro laptop and Alex contacted us to let us know before he even realised he had left it behind. Alex arranged for it to be sent to us via recorded delivery straight away! Thank you Alex for your help with getting it back to us and also for your honesty! 

For those who haven't visited Raywell before, there are 3 sides. Side A, B and C. Side C is the newer part of the site and the furthest away from the on-site Cafe and reception. Side C was our least favourite side of them all due to it being closer to the road and hearing the traffic pass when you're in the hot tub. It wasn't necessarily an issue but the other 2 sides are much more peaceful! Side A is our favourite.

SPA SERENITY

We have just come back from the most relaxing two night stay here.   We wanted somewhere we could take our dog too. This was the perfect place. Very easy to find. The place was equipped with everything we could need a bottle of Prosecco for us and treats for our dog. It's so peaceful and we had the most relaxing time along with a few walks. The hot tub was just perfect and the weather wasn't too cold to enjoy it. The bathroom and shower room are huge. Lots of storage space for food and your clothes etc. Very friendly staff too. We will definitely be back.
