The most incredible pub in the world, I am so grateful to of experienced the old nag . I had an incredible time reflecting in this pub with my peers. Chips were great, slushes were grand, staff were excellent, lots of love x

Really nice place to go for a quick pint after a long walk. Came here with some friends, great selection of ales/beers, nice portions of chips and all of the food that went past looked incredible. We had great seats in the back garden and staff were friendly!

We visited Edale in July as lockdown was easing and pubs reopening. We were tired and thirsty after a walk to kinder scout. The man on the door was friendly and welcoming,  there was space in the ample pub garden. There were good procedures in place to order easily and a one way system in the bar. It was a welcome stop at the end of a long day and they made it very easy in these unusual times. Thank you

My first time at the old nags head, been to Edale a few times pre lockdown but never to the old nags head,It didn't disappoint, the staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you, the pub was very charming inside and out and the food was out of this world and very reasonably , many thanks, I look forward to visiting many more times in the future 

Been to this pub a couple of times before. Ideal location with walks all around it. Friendly, cosy pub which also allows dogs . The food is excellent, large portions , and tasty. Would definitely recommend .

Some work colleagues and myself decided to go camping at Coopers for a weekend , The Old Nags Head was our go to place at the end of each day , Nice spot out back to sit by the river and have a beer then move inside when things get cooler . Tried the food which was good and nice cosy interior with a nice relaxing atmosphere, definitely go back.

Good food, great beer, no complaints. Can get very busy.

Have eaten here afew times on various visits to Edale and always had a good meal. Staff are friendly and there is a nice atmosphere. Always worth a visit.

We stayed in one of the flats above the pub for a few nights, 2 blokes, and their respective sons. Flat is quite small, but 4x 6foot people didn't feel as if it was crowded. Food in pub downstairs was good, as was the welcome.

Good cooking facilities/equipment.
Gripes - bathroom light flickered constantly. Fan noise outside for most of the night, but it didn't really affect sleep. 

If you're self-catering, remember to buy your food well before any local villages, the nearest large-ish shop is miles away.

We are a family group of seven and we stayed in the two cottages for two nights. We ate three times in The Nags Head and we were very satisfied with the food, pricing and service. The bar staff were helpful and efficient. 
The cottages, which are really flats, were clean and contained everything we needed. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed ourselves. We chose this pub for it's location but enjoyed the facilities, food and drink. We walked on both days the peak district is the best in England.Staff freindly

Enjoyable stay

Visited to take a trip down memory lane. Pub has been extended and lost its soul. Service was unfriendly, prices high for the area. Drinks all OK, but wouldn't make us stay for food or go back. Quite sad really. Garden area was packed full of beaches to accommodate the visitors but made it feel crowded.
