Bulls Head Hotel

We have just had a night at this guest house (formerly Bull Inn) Please do not pay attention to the previous negative reviews that have been written (as we nearly did) Firstly the guest house is perfectly situated right in the middle of the main market square . We managed to park our car right in front although this may not always be possible . There are a number of really food pubs /restaurants within a stones throw of the guest house. We had amazing views of the dales behind from our bedroom and also the bathroom . The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean . The bedroom appeared newly decorated with everything you needed including fluffy towels and a bath robe ! The house itself although an old characterful building is clean , cosy warm and welcoming . There is a lovely living room / dining area as you come in. Nina was the host was so warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble . William the dog was lovely 😊 too. Breakfast was fabulous with a perfectly cooked breakfast cereals, fruit and proper tea and coffee. We stayed here at the end of a four of Northumbria and Yorkshire and this was one of our favourite places and we will definitely stay here again if we come this way .
