Travelodge Thurrock Lakeside

Me and my partner have stopped here twice so far. The owner is very nice and very polite offering you towels and jugs of water. We normally drop off our bags and head straight to the West End and then return at about midnight. I am very impressed with the shower they have it is a very fancy kind that feels great after hours of walking and travelling on the underground. The rooms have a nice thick quilt on the double beds which is ideal for winter, a bit warm summer though. Some people do not like the DIY breakfast however I actually prefer it to some places. You can make your eggs and toast the way you like them and you can have as much or as little tea or coffee as you want. The checkout time is at 10 AM which is a little early but a small price to pay for a nice homely stay.
