Great staff, good location This is a small, fun, very clean hotel in a quiet, pretty location close to Waverley train station, Edinburgh bus station and the hop on hop off stop. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a small hotel, so just a small (but friendly) bar area, limited food restaurant and small lobby/gathering area but it has 2 elevators. Buffet breakfast is included, with eggs, meats, cheeses, cereals, vegetables, toast/bagels and pastries. Our room on top floor was spacious and well equipped, with robes & slippers, safe, sofa and chairs and a lovely balcony. Plenty of outlets and usb ports. Bathroom was modern and clean, but had an odd, swinging almost translucent glass entry door. We had a comfortable, welcoming stay here.
