Field Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast

Stayed here for just one night having attended a wedding locally.  A lot of B&Bs do a minimum 2 night stay, so we were delighted to find this one.  Lovely welcome from owner, Karen, who made us feel at home straight away.  Comfy bed in well appointed room and the crowning glory was the full English breakfast, with locally sourced bacon and sausages.  Didn't need to eat for the rest of the day

Stable cottage is the perfect location for a family of up to 5 (2 adults and 2-3 children). The kitchen has everything you need to cook and store food for days out (packed lunches).  The cottage is very comfortable and all very clean.  Karen is so kind and hospitable and you can get on with it but if you need some help or tips on where to visit, then she is very helpful.  There is a lovely front garden with table and chairs to sit out on during the summer evenings; with a drink. With bed linen and towels all included and a lovely welcome pack (for a cup of tea when you arrive) all make this a Gem.  We will be back again, thank you Karen and Kevin for a lovely stay. Tip - get your shopping delivered to the cottage on the evening of your arrival and avoid the hassle.

Beautiful accommodation & wonderful hosts.  Field Farmhouse is set in a quiet village & is very peaceful. The rooms are excellently furnished & spotless. The breakfast is superb quality with a large choice of hot & cold food.  Highly recommended.

Warm welcome. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast freshly prepared and served in lovely breakfast room overlooking well-kept gardens.Only 5 mins from Cerne Giant. Approx 10 mins drive from Dorchester city centre.

Field Farm is a great place to stay - set at the foot of a green hill, it is peaceful, sheltered and comforting.  There are two cottages for hire and two specific b&b rooms (one of which we occupied) situated in the third cottage along with the breakfast room and the b&b kitchen.  The owner, Karen, is friendly and welcoming providing excellent breakfasts including fresh fruit and yoghurt as well as the usual full English in all its varieties.  The rooms are clean, rural style with good shower rooms, a permanently heated towel rail and comfortable beds.   I can thoroughly recommend this place and would go back.
