As a solo female traveller I felt welcome, safe and well cared -for. A cosy table was found for dinner (which was excellent) and my room was clean, quiet & filled with tiny, thoughtful touches such as fresh coffee bags and lovely shampoos. Tucked away in the countryside outside Cheltenham, this pub made a welcome and good value change from the usual chain hotels.
