373 reviewsMy stay at the Kelvin hotel was short but oh so sweet. I was only there for one night but the gentlemen at the front desk was one of the kindest and most accommodating people I have ever interacted with in the hospitality industry. Check in: My friend and I arrived early and were able to check in right away at no extra cost. This is not the norm in the UK based on my experience - but very much appreciated for a weary traveler. Breakfast: After a night out, my friend and I did not wake up early enough for breakfast. However, after coming to the lobby to check out we were offered plenty of food, drinks, and snacks anyways. I was ready to settle for a dry box of cereal just to tide myself over, but, the gentlemen from the desk came in and provided milk, hot chocolate, coffee, orange juice, yogurt, and snacks for the rest of our day. It was amazing! Overall, I believe most of the other reviews don’t do this place justice. Our room was fully renovated not even two weeks ago and HUGE! If I ever find myself in Glasgow again I will 100% stay here.
