Dale Farm - Campground

Stayed in July 2024 in the Granary loft apartment as a couple with 2 dogs (checked with the owners as the website said only 1 and they were great about it!) Hosts were very welcoming and approachable, but also left us alone to enjoy ourselves which was lovely. When we needed them, they were there. Perfect. Loft was comfortable and spacious, came with all the essentials you'd need for a weekend stay. Even had skylights which was asked if we could open and made it really airy. Bathroom was also spacious with nice fittings and a great shower. Saw some previous reviews about cleanliness, I would like to say that it is a loft in a very old converted farm building so the odd cobweb was present (and should be expected to be honest). We found a couple of cobwebs but the general standard of cleanliness was great, we certainly felt comfortable and relaxed. Location is absolutely amazing, we were lucky to have really great weather which made it all the more fun. 10 mins from Filey, 3 mins from Hunmanby meant we were out of the way but never cut off. And it's virtually silent, really feel like you are decompressing when you're there amongst the HouseMartins. Grounds are very very neat and well maintained, dog friendly means it was easy to stretch their legs without having to go near the roads and provision of dog bin was very welcome. All in all, we loved it here and had a wonderful time. We will definitely try to book here when we return on our next stay in the area. Thank you for a lovely time.
