Great service & peaceful location. Lovely big breakfast.

Part of a longer trip through much of Scotland. Quiet location close to town and the A road. Plentiful breakfast. Landlord is quiet pleasant.

Jo was a great host. The property is a small horse farm out in the country but close enough to anything you'd like to do.

The service and breakfast was phenomenal.

My 1st time here but def not my last. Well away from the town centre but less than 5 minutes drive away.Lovely warm welcome, very nice private room and a very filling breakfast. Thank you very much.

Stay here for one nite. I arrived early and it wasn't a problem. Jo who runs the place is so friendly and easy to get on with. She even went out her way to make sure my bus was of the street. The room I had was so comfortable definitely recommend to anyone coming up this way.

We was greeted with a very warm welcome and made to feel welcome from the very start.With recommendations for a local inn for diner.Nothing was to much trouble and breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices. Was even offered Hagis after expressing a keen interest in having some.The personal touches made this stay much better than a hotel.Would definitely recommend and will be revisiting again next year

We stayed for two nights. Everything was perfectly clean  A comfortable bed. Great breakfasts. But first and foremost in our memories was the friendliness. 
Hosefield is well-positioned for several great hikes along the coast: Cruden Bay and the Forvie nature reserve to name but two.

A lovely, clean room and private bath in a home just on the outskirts of Ellon, with lovely hosts, comfortable bed, and a great breakfast.

Lovely, quiet location but just a mile or two from Ellon. Excellent host. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with shower. Large sitting room with log burner which was lit in evening. Breakfast was excellent - I have to say I couldn't finish mine. Everything with accommodation was just right and very good value for money.

Excellent accommodation

A beautiful cosy B&B with a nice surrounding garden. Jo, who runs it is very friendly and we have become good friends with her as its our 3rd visit over the past few years.  The breakfast is amazing with loads to chose from. From a dimple cereal to a full cooked breakfast. 
It's clean and well kept with everything you need and is close to the Brewdog brewery if you are in the area for this, this place is ideal.

Holiday

Rang in a panic as dog was having a serious operation at a nearby vet.( 70 miles from home) I wanted to stay close just in case there were complications. Jo was a fantastic host! Welcomed us into her home. The room was toasty warm. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing!! All for £65 per night! Excellent value. Was lovely to be able to visit the horses And pony too. would defiantly stay here again.

Wonderful night!

Located in the Scottish country, we have had two very relaxing days in this wonderful B&B. We felt at home the minute we were welcomed by Jo, who is the friendliest B&B host I’ve ever met. 

We had booked a tour at the Brewdog brewery and Jo was even so kind to drop us off there, which made it possibly for me to enjoy the tour for 100%, including the offered drinks to taste.

The breakfast was also really great and enough for the whole day.

Should I go back to Ellon, I wouldn’t want to stay anewhere else. In fact I regretted not to have booked three days instead of two.


Really nice B&B, with a terrific breakfast and a very, very friendly host!

We stayed here for one night but wish we had stayed longer. Jo was a very accommodating host. The breakfast was superb as was the extremely comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Just a 30 minute stroll along beautiful country roads to the Brewdog brewery. We highly recommend this as an excellent value for money b&b.

Superb!!!!

This B&B is situated in the heart of Aberdeenshire with lots of nice countryside around, only 7-10 miles from the coast and about a mile or so from the BrewDog brewery and tap which I was visiting to do the brewery tour. The room and en-suite were excellent, clean and very comfortable with everything you could need, Jo made me feel very welcome and was very hospitable and helpful and the breakfast was incredible. All in all I had a great time staying here and wished I could have stayed another night or two!

Fantastic B&B In The Heart of Aberdeenshire !

Four of us booked in for 5 nights as it was personally recommended to us by a member of our family. I must say we were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted by Jo, who, for the whole of our stay could not do enough for us. The rooms were excellent, comfy beds and a full English breakfast, I mean full, to set you up for the day. Set in a peaceful location a couple of miles out of Ellon and close to our family just up the road. Good tv reception in the bedrooms, bathrooms clean and tidy. My wife and I had the family room with a good KS bed, overlooking the garden.
