Sonas Guesthouse

This is a really charming wee place. I had the garden room with external bathroom which felt private and almost like a mini-suite. There were so many little touches like the soft bathrobe and slippers, there is both blind and curtains so you aren't woken at the crack of dawn, there is (this is so rare) enough light to read by and wifi that works, the "breakfast bag" is spot on and there is plenty of spare tea and coffee etc in the lobby. And Irene is helpful and friendly and patient - thank you. There are some bits of dilapidation but it really doesn't matter. Everything is clean and works perfectly. It was a great place to come back to after battling with Edinburgh crowds and chaos.
