Liz Bentley is a dream--always so responsive to our questions about both Blair Angus and Atholl Brae, her two apartments just off the Royal Mile. We have now stayed with her four times in visits to Edinburgh. That fact should give some indication of our responsiveness to the apartments. They are spacious, with all kitchen necessities available. The wifi is strong. There is GREAT water pressure in the showers and the washing machine is quite good. The location is just a short block from the Royal Mile. It is only about a 5 minute walk to Holyroodhouse, the Queen's residence at the bottom of the Royal Mile. That end of the Royal Mile is much quieter than the upper end, nearer the Castle. If there is a drawback--it's an uphill climb to the upper end of the Royal Mile, but I think that is outweighed by the quiet location, the cost, the spaces you get, and the support from Liz.
