Had a very pleasant stay at the Norcroft Guest House. The hotel is clean and comfortable and located in a quiet part of Penrith, just a short walk away from the town centre. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. Great value for money too!

I enjoyed my stay at Norcroft Guest House. The staff members are kind. I was able to check-in early and was so grateful for that. I was offered a slice of lemon cake on arrival (delicious!) and offered fruit to take on my last morning when I wasn't going to be there for breakfast. The breakfast was tasty and delivered to my room at the time I requested. I would definitely stay here again if ever in Penrith in the future. Thank you! My only suggestion would be an upgrade to the mattress and pillows.

Great parking safe for bike large room modern bathroom with large shower Wonderful hosts with home made vegan cookies on arrival that were delicious A real treat to have breakfast in room have already booked our next stay before leaving !

I was given a very warm welcome and offered a homemade cookie ( very delicious). I stayed in.room.8 a single small but more than adequate, everything was provided and the room and bathroom.were spotlessly clean. The hotel requires that you pre-order breakfast for delivery at a chosen time slot, the next morning it arrived bang on time and was lovely and hot with everything you could expect. Excellent place - Mark was very helpful and made my stay very comfortable. It was a pleasure to have proper cotton bedlinen to sleep in and lovely products in the bathroom!

A Great Stay!

Brilliant breakfast, comfy beds and lovely rooms - the pictures really undersell it.
The couple running it were lovely - they greeted us with a complementary cake and brought up our breakfast in the morning. They also supplied vegan hot chocolate and kindly gifted us a wedding gift.

Highly recommend staying here!

Pre wedding stay

What a beautiful place to stay. Hosts we're about the best you can find and every minute we were there we loved it. The entire place was spotless and the food was 1st class. All diets catered for, and breakfast was delivered to your room on a tray. We have stayed in many hotels and guest houses: they could all learn from a night in Norcroft Guest House.
We would happily recommend a stay.

Family reunion

Room was lovely and clean and hosts very friendly and welcoming. Your breakfast is brought to your room, which is a lovely touch. I stayed in a single room right at the top of the house. If I had one little thing to say, it would be the lack of a mirror in the bedroom to get ready and do my hair, but other than that, no complaints.There was private parking at the back of the hotel which is a bonus as Penrith can be difficult for that.

Visiting Family

Was staying over after hiking Helvellyn a 2”30 minute drive away from Penrith. Warm welcome from the hosts Mark & Paula who even gave me a home baked cookie on arrival which was a nice touch. I stayed in a basic single room which was perfect. Pre-ordered breakfast for a set time which was delivered to my room on time and was delicious. Will definitely stay here again when I return to the Lake District.

Nice one night stay

We were greeted by Mark and Paula with home made cookies.  Mark has contacted us in advance to arrange an arrival time. 
The double room we had was on the front and it was nice and spacious. 
There was plenty of choice for breakfast.
There was a good selection of of herbal tea and coffee in the room.
There was a car park and the location is only a five minute walk from Penrith centre.

Norcroft Guest house.

A traditional bed & breakfast. Great communication from the hosts in advance, and they were very helpful on arrival sorting out parking and fresh water to take up. The room was comfortable and clean. I didn't have time for breakfast, but it would have been served at the room (you pre-order the night before). The hosts were very friendly and I would stay there again.

Great attention to detail and a lovely bit of cake on arrival. Room was very clean and spacious for a single. The breakfast is even brought to your room in the morning at the specified time of your choice which was awesome. Food was excellent and hot. Overall fantastic value for money. And half the price of the local premier inn. Cant recommended this bed and breakfast enough. John Room 6

The owners were really sweet and made sure everything was alright with the room and breakfast. They also handed me a fresh chocolate muffin right when I got there! I found the location really convenient for walking into town or to the bus station, it was pretty close but still far away enough to be really quiet/peaceful at night.

A great stay at Norcroft Guest House. Very clean room and pleasant, friendly service from my hosts. I enjoyed my breakfast very much. I appreciated the good variety of quality teas and coffees on the room tray- a nice extra touch. Also, when I arrived my host had just been baking  and offered me some to try, which I thought was lovely. Thank you.
