Chapel House Apartments

We spent 4 days here last week. There was more than enough room and the kitchen was well equipped. It was really nice to find washing up liquid, sponge and cloth left for us, along with kitchen roll. The owners were friendly and helpful. Everything was beautifully clean and there was ample storage for clothes. The shower room is a little dated but perfectly adequate. The apartments are very well situated for the Beamish Museum. It's easy to get to the A1 which gives access to everywhere you might want to visit in the North East. A rural location but close to shops and a petrol station just down the road. Also on a bus route to Newcastle if you don't want to drive in to the city centre.
