Lovely stay at Exmore House, perfect accommodation, beautiful room.. impeccably clean and we were made to feel very welcome, lots to do locally and sits within beautiful countryside. Our dog was made to feel very welcome also 😊 thank you .. would definitely recommend to others.

The welcome and care we received from Jane and James was second to none. The bed was enormous and super comfy. Breakfast was excellent- I recommend the mushroom omelette. But what was truly impressive was the fact that Jane was so kind in providing us with a ‘Take Away’ breakfast on the day of our departure as we were leaving very early. 
If you wish to stay in Dunster and would like to be well loved during your stay then go to Exmoor House.

Fantastic weekend away. Comfortable room with excellent facilities. Breakfasts are awesome. Our hosts Jane and James are most welcoming and accommodating. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Looking forward to our next visit hopefully soon.

Lovely weekend stay in November at this historic venue in a beautiful building. The hosts James and Jane were perfect and very friendly. Breakfast was gorgeous, best fried bread we have ever had. Fresh milk for each room was a great feature and extra was never a problem. Comfortable bed and great nights sleep. Dunster village is a beautiful place. Highly recommend this friendly high quality B&B.

Had a fabulous short break at this B&B.  The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is everything you need supplied from tea, coffee and biscuits to a full range of toiletries in the bathroom. 

Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. James and Jane are very friendly and helpful, offering excellent suggestions on restaurants and places to visit.

Dunster is a lovely little village with good restaurants and pubs to suit every budget. The wider area is also great to explore we especially enjoyed visiting Lynton and Lynmouth using the open topped bus.

I can’t praise this B&B enough. Chris & Jane were warm and welcoming when we arrived. Our room was lovely, with everything we needed and more. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with a good choice of hot and cold choices. The hot choices being cooked to order with both hosts on hand to make sure we had everything we wanted. Also great location in the village. Could not recommend highly enough and would definitely stay again if visiting the area again.

Super long weekend at Exmoor House b&b. 
Rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable and have plentiful tea/coffee/juices provided.  Breakfasts are excellent too. Nothing is too much trouble for owners Jane and James who are more than accommodating with food and allergy requests. We will definitely be back!

Dunster is a great place to visit and stay AND Exmoor House in Dunster was great in every way. Comfortable bed, top notch facilities, no hassle with anything and perfect for our quiet weekend getaway. Could not fault it.

A really charming and  well-run bed and breakfast in the best part of Dunster - a bit quieter than the main High street area and with two routes into the Castle grounds just over the road and viable (because generally there is a bit of a shortage in Dunster!) on road parking along the opposite side.  There is a friendly pub right next door and a really lovely Italian restaurant next door but one.  We had a good-sized room on the garden side of the house, it was extremely peaceful and comfortable and very good value for money.  A great base from which to enjoy the delights of Dunster,  the pretty villages around and the North Somerset coast.  Highly recommend.

What an amazing hotel. Jane and James are excellent hosts, very friendly, and their attention to detail cannot be faulted. The rooms are very comfortable, and have little extras such as tiny tubes of suncream, cologne and soft fluffy towels. There is also fresh milk, squash, extra tea and coffee available at all times, including a fridge to store cold drinks and water. Our breakfast was very tasty along with fresh fruit, yoghurt and home made compotes. Jane makes great omelettes! I cannot recommend Exmoor Hotel enough and look forward to visiting again.

Lovely B&B in gorgeous village. Owners were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you - added touches like assigned milk and water in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Room was great and bed was very comfy. Definitely recommend and would go back. Dunster Castle and Gardens across the road are a must-visit while staying! 

Lovely B&B and hosts in gorgeous village 

Great location in Dunster with a parking spot on the road opposite. It was an easy walk into town to local restaurants/hotels plus an easy walk to the castle...an attraction not to be missed. Dunster is a medieval village, but also a good spot to use as a base for trips to places such as Lynton/Lynmouth for the water powered railway. We would stay there again. Welcoming hosts.

Dunster Delights

We were made very welcome, tea and cake on arrival. All staff very friendly. Breakfast was delicious, including smaller portions, which were great. Decor, very tasteful. Ideally situated in the village, a few steps from Dunster Castle. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Several excellent pubs and restaurants are close by, including Hathaways and the Foresters.
