I came to stay here with a friend, we both had rooms at the front overlooking the watter, beautiful. Yes this guesthouse may have older furnishings, but for the price very good value  especially with the breakfast. My bed was comfortable and the room spacious, with a sink. Being able to sit outside was peaceful and perfect for us. Recommend the Queen Street chipshop nearby, but order ahead, very very busy on a Friday! A walk into town to try out the pubs, then short taxi ride home, had a great time in Dunoon, especially enjoyed getting the bus upto Benmore Gardens, then subsequently the nrxt day to Colintraive to get ferry over to Bute. Give this place a try as a good base.

Great guesthouse for the money

Just had a few days break with my mother in law .. so peaceful and owned by such a lovely couple who went out their way to help us .. will definitely be back .. beautiful views of the Clyde to watch the wildlife and  very central for everything in Dunoon 

Short break 

Great B&B. Friendly owners (Jennie & Tjapko ? excuse spelling) very helpful. Cracking breaky, just what's required after a heavy night. Should of been there this weekend but for Covid. Hopefully next year.

Great value, lovely room with views and decent sized flat screen, shared bathroom but never an issue or wait, friendly and helpful owners, superb breakfast and be back next year. Ideally located for town. Cheers

Great value stay, Give it a go.

Thanks for a firendly and helpful welcome and stay for the two of us. The location on the front is also 5 minutes walk to town shops, and to the large Co-op supermarket, and to bus stops, 10 minutes from the ferry.

Excellent value with friendly hosts

Great stay, very welcoming and a great breakfast with view over The Clyde. What more do you need? On the sea front with a short walk into town. Two minute drive to the local car ferry and all essential amenities close by. :)

Traditional

This is an old-fashioned, no frills family concern where they look after you really well. It's impeccably clean. Cheerful  houseproud Dutch family couldn't be more helpful.  There were four of us staying in June 2018.  A ,pub they recommended does good food.  Breakfast was copious and the bill unbelievably modest.  Would not suit anyone who couldn't climb stairs or needed an en-suite shower.  Highly recommended.

Going Dutch

Stayed here for one night.  Good value, located on the front near the town centre.  Our rooms weren't en-suite but that wasn't a bother for us, especially at the good price.  Breakfast was tasty.  Plenty parking available. Would stay again.
