This our second stay at Lincoln Yurts but the site has recently changed hands.

The new owners, Marcel and Angela, contacted us to confirm arrival time and met and showed us to our yurt.

Throughout our stay, they were friendly, helpful and unobtrusive.

The wood fired hot tub was preheated ready for our arrival and they have breakfast offerings available delivered fresh to your door at a prearranged time.

We will definitely be returning

Came down to Lincoln to visit family, stayed with Marcel and Angela at Lincoln yurts and what an incredible time we both had, me, my partner and my two sausage dogs. Incredible decor, huge amount of space, comfy beds and storage. The facilities were also an added bonus to our glamping experience, having a massive bath, sink and toilet to ourselves.

We had breakfast in the morning delivered straight to the yurt, it was beautiful! Couldn’t recommend enough, we will be back!!

Both Daz And Kath are a lovely couple nothing was too much trouble.
Made to feel very welcome.
The location is perfect for a relaxing peaceful time surrounded by the beautiful countryside.
The yurt itself was cozy comfortable, well equipped and romantic & warm.(wood burner and effect on the yurt was relaxing)
We had the use of a firepit, kitchen and private bathroom.
The bathroom was clean cozy and the bath was relaxing.
The hot tub was perfect but we found the relaxing of the yurt and fire more peaceful.
Breakfast was brought to us every morning, it was fresh, hot and tasty.
Daz was helpful with local amenities and pointed us in the right directions.
Will definitely be back.

Beautifully restful as always .This little piece of heaven provides luxury glamping ( with your own separate swish bathroom ) . High quality decor , hot tubs and Kaths amazing breakfast brought to your yurt !

Third time back here. We stayed in the Oriental, Balinese and this most recent time, the Mongolian themed yurt.

Cannot fault this place. Cath & Daz are always really friendly and will help with anything you need. The place is really tranquil, chickens walking around the place all day which is cool.

We didn’t have a cooked breakfast this time as we had some daytime activities booked early, but we had cooked breakfast the first two times we stayed and it was great. Just tell them the night before and they bring it all down to your yurt in the morning at the agreed time.

Each yurt has their own specific bathroom so you’re not sharing with anyone else. The bath tub in the Mongolian bathroom was really nice.

Whatever the weather, it’s a really nice place to stay.

Excellent relaxing time away Kath and Darren are superb hosts, nothing is too much trouble. 

We stayed in the Mongolian yurt, it was immaculate and we slept amazing, the bed is beyond comfy. 

Would highly recommend.

The whole experience was brilliant.
Darren and Kath go an extra mile and some to make sure you have everything you need.
Nice amenities from start to finish this was our second time here and they will definitely be a third. 
Our kids named the chickens 🤣
One was called bossman
One was called Geraldine
One was called chicken strip
And another was 20 chicken nuggets 🤣
The chickens was brilliant and a good part of our stay.

I find it quite difficult to write a review without repeating what so many others have already said, from the initial booking to leaving Lincoln Yurts the whole experience was a joy. On arrival at the site Cath was awaiting our arrival, we were instructed where to park the car Darren was waiting and assisted in unpacking our vehicle. While Cath explained to us how, what and where things were and worked, Darren took our cases etc to the Yurt. 

Darren had already lit our hot tub for our arrival, just in case we fancied a soak (we did). The Yurt (French) was excellent, considering it was in a field it was really clean (as was every other facility on site). We had breakfast on 3 of the 4 mornings we stayed and these were of a very high standard and plentiful. We visited Lincoln and the surrounding areas for a few meals all of these were disappointing (we should have spoken to Darren and Cath for recommendations) there were some displayed in the shared kitchen. How Darren can deliver such a high standard of breakfast which is piping hot in the middle of a field, and a restaurant cant do it from their kitchen to the dining room beggars belief! 

Darren and Cath, are such a wonderful welcoming couple and their hosting skills are fantastic (this is more to do with how kind and genuine they both are) they both work so hard to ensure you have a great stay and nothing is to much for them. The chickens are an added extra, another thing they do caring for these unwanted birds.

We will definitely return in the near future, thank you both for such a great time, who would of thought it? sitting outside in swimming costumes in October.

Out of all the places I have visited in my life Lincoln Yurts has taken a special place in my heart. 

After suffering a family bereavement we decided we wanted a relaxing break, a break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, jeez did we get that. 

Upon arrival Kath was so warm and welcoming, we felt like we had known this lovely lady for years. 

Kath helped us load the trollies, these are available for easily transporting your luggage to the yurt Kath even pulled one for us (I don't pack light). 

We were shown around our yurt and given all the information we needed to use the log burner, hot tub and solar charging facilities as we had booked the French yurt.

There are absolutely no hidden charges or upselling at Lincoln Yurts, what you book is what you get. All candles, wood for the log burners and hot tubs are provided and topped up if you run out at no extra cost. 

We were absolutely taken back by the beauty of the yurt, the detail and thought that has been put into each and every yurt is of the highest standard. They truly are breath taking. 

All the yurts are perfectly positioned for maximum privacy along with clever planting of trees and bushes.

Darren and Kath are available by phone or text any time of the day and answer any quires or requests you may have within seconds. 
They are there to chat with if you see them and you want to chat with them or equally, they are not there if you want your space and privacy. 

Kath and Darren are truly exceptional hosts and it's clear Lincoln Yurts is not just their business it's their love and passion.

The communal kitchen area is fantastic, big American fridge freezer to store your food and drinks, the freezer is also stocked with ice and ice packs. Microwave, kettle, toaster and a variety of teas and coffees available for use. 

The private bathrooms are equally as stunning as the yurts, each one lovingly and thoughtfully designed. 

We ordered breakfast both days, this can be ordered in time slots from 8am – midday. I mean come on, what service! 
Something for the early birds and the sleepy birds. I’m one of the sleepy birds and this was brilliant for me, no getting up at the crack of dawn to get ready for breakfast. 
Breakfast is hand delivered to your yurt piping hot and they are absolutely delicious. 

The Scandinavian hot tub was so tranquil, having only ever been in traditional jacuzzies I really appreciated the fresh water (no chemicals) and no noise from the jets. 

We were blessed with the weather on our visit, 30 degrees. 
On the Saturday we jumped in the hot tub about 3pm without even heating it up this was so welcome and refreshing just like jumping in a pool abroad. 
We started to heat it up about 6pm as it was getting slightly cooler and it was up to a nice temperature within an hour. 

On the Saturday evening we had the most amazing views. 
Now bear with me because I’m going to sound silly… 
The sky is so big, yeah I know, breaking news the sky is big, but what I mean is you are in a high position and there is nothing in the skyline to ruin the view and very limited light pollution. 
So sat in the hot tub sipping on G&T, in the distance miles away there was 2 separate storms, lightening illuminating the whole sky but right over us the sky was perfectly clear, we could see all the stars shining so brightly, it truly was a beautiful sight and something that I will remember forever. 
(The storm never reached us)

It was so enjoyable and relaxing just sat there in the day catching some rays watching the horses in the field, a personal highlight was watching Kath and Darrens small flock of chickens just bumbling about doing their chicken thing, Darren couldn’t have described them any better, “like having 14 drunk mates around” so funny to watch. 

To end as the title of the review says, do not hesitate to book, I promise you will not regret it. 
We enjoyed it so much we booked again for December on the day we arrived back home and I’m sure we will book again and again and again… well until my fella removes my bank permissions ;p

I honestly don’t know how Bear Grylls made so many programs about living in the wilderness…. It’s an absolute breeze at Lincoln Yurts.

We’ve just got back after a weekend stay in the Mongolian yurt. It was beautiful from start to finish. Beautiful yurt, beautiful views and beautiful people who own and run it, nothing is too much to ask and their hospitality is amazing. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful and relaxing then this is definitely the place to go. Hot tub under the stars is also a brilliant way to end the day! The beds are also super comfy and the best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time!! Will defo be back! Thank you again Darren and Kath!
