Rockingham Arms By Greene King Inns

We stayed here one night when visiting Sheffield. Being Greene King we expected it to be of reasonable standard, but were quite impressed. Checked in at the pub, young lady took us to our rooms which are in converted old cottage across the road. Rooms were refurbished in 2024, so are still in good order, very clean with everything you expect and everything worked. Good WiFi, plenty of power points. Comfortable bed. We ate in the pub, there are a few tables near the bar and a restaurant area ( where breakfast is also served). All food ( evening meal and breakfast) was good quality with friendly efficient service. Some good cask ales on offer too as well as other beer, wine etc. Sufficient car parking space too. The village is only a short walk away and is old with some lovely cottages to look at, another pub and village shop. Would certainly stay here again if in the area.
