Beautiful location right in the centre of Dartmouth and near the waterfront. And a lovely building. Hassle free booking. We couldn't ask for more

Just arrived home from a 3 night stay at this lovely bed and breakfast. The Accommodation was excellent with comfortable rooms and a superb breakfast cooked by our lovely hosts and we really enjoyed sitting on the same table as other guests. The location was central with an added bonus of parking permits.

A wonderful, cosy stay 

My husband and I managed a weekend whilst our daughter was away with school. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. The owners had a wealth of knowledge on the local area and history which was really interesting. We really liked the fact that it was a small B&B, which kept it personal and the location was fantastic. We would definitely book again.

Fantastic location and hospitality

Easy access to Cherubs Nest via a keypad door. House on 3 levels. Kitchen/dining area on the ground floor which has everything you could need for your stay. It was all very clean and functioning. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and had their own en-suites. Lounge had 2 sofas and to and a window facing the street. Good points- great location within Dartmouth, easy access to the town and shops and harbour. House has everything you need for a few days stay. Parking is included in a nearby car park.Nice touches included-hand wash, sanitizer, milk in the fridge, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid. Bad points- en-suites in double and king bedroom are very, very small. They are well used and tired and really need redoing. No outside area for the property.

Location, location, location.

Very central location. Parking permit available for town centre car park at minimal cost. Older property, room was small but nicely refurbished. Shower room tiny.
Did not have breakfast.

Central and good value for money

My wife and I stayed here recently as part of a birthday treat. Whilst our room was not the largest, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is ideal, being just minutes from the river and the ferries. We were warmly greeted by Geoff the owner and he was only too happy to pass on information regarding the area. For a very pleasant stay, close to all amenities, you won't go far wrong.

Very pleasant stay

Small but adequately furnished rooms in old house right in the centre of town.  The owners were relaxed and helpful.  Breakfasts were excellent.  For £3 per day, the owners supply a car parking permit for the nearby council car park, a considerable saving on pay & display.

Ideal for weekend visit

A very enjoyable stay with a warm welcome from Geoff and Bev. Lovely comfortable room and superb breakfast. Would stay again.

Central location close to River

First the good bits. Excellent location - about as central as you can get in Dartmouth. I guess this would be the justification for the rate charged. Breakfast was excellent and hosts very friendly. The parking permit came in very handy as you can also use it in selected car park around the Hams council area.

However, the decor is very dated and a little shabby. Carpets are lumpy and feel like a trip hazard every time you walk on them. As mentioned in previous reviews room 2 - which we were in - has the double whammy of a combi-boiler providing water for the whole house siwtching on and off constantly, and a window overlooking the pub next door which provides a constant stream of foul-mouthed regulars cussing at full volume with their fag smoke drifting up into the room. Room was a double. Very small so cases and bags had to be stowed under the bed. Also disliked the fact that fresh towels were left on top of the toilet lid - eeeeuuuuw!

But the bit we really disliked was the communal dining table at breakfast. Sorry if this makes us sound like bad people, but we really value our privacy and simply don't like sharing the start of our day with total strangers however friendly they might be. Nowhere on their various website adverts are there pictures or mentions of this feature. Had this been prominent we would never have booked in the first place. 

This B&B might be OK for some but there's no way we could recommend it - sorry.
