115 reviewsOn a whim, my wife and I decided we needed a quick weekend break. We picked The Devonport 'blind', knowing nothing about it - and boy, did we strike lucky! From our first phone call enquiry, to our check-out this morning, I simply can't recall a better customer experience than that provided by the whole staff team. Devonport owners, you have a crew to be proud of! We got lucky with our room - the Stark Suite. Quite outstanding, both in the quality of the accommodation and the surprisingly reasonable cost. We booked dinner in advance: once more, we struck gold. The quality of the food was exceptional, and, again, the staff were brilliant: attentive, knowledgeable, and just really nice people to boot. Breakfast this morning was superb: again, quality food and great service. We don't often make recommendations about places we visit - but The Devonport is a definite exception to that rule. Just go there: you'll love it! (I'm just home, and am still smiling from the experience as I type this...)
