we had a great nights sleep after a party we attended close by, pillows were nice and soft, room was warm and not like a sauna lol. we had a front room well we had a choice either front or rear we chose the front and glad we did the view was lovely.

We eat at the restaurant next door great meal and very friendly staff.

5 mins from the town by car. nice view of the Tay, beds are  comfortable, room was clean and tidy. 
Indian restaurant next door so don't have  far to go to eat out. If you don't fancy Indian food then the town is only 5 mins away. :)

We had a great room with a view over Firth of Tay. Just back from the Dundee Rep watching the  Oor Wullie On Tour, great show.

Stay was great, Stuart was fabulous help out a lot I forgot my charger for my phone and he found one to charge it for me what a life saver.

A big thank you to Stuart for really putting himself out in every way to ensure my stay was great.

The restaurant do great food at good value.
Guys. This is a budget hotel so bare this in mind.
However after having said that, my room was clean and serviced daily.
The free parking is a bonus and the breakfast service were all great.
Keep up the good work. A true asset to the place.

The service that the staff provided was excellent. They were very friendly and made you feel very welcoming during the 3 nights that we stayed. The rooms were spacious and the food that the restaurant provided were superb, with huge portions and very reasonable pricing. For me, the staff alone would already be enough reason to come back

Stayed here the other night Stuart was great guy really couldn't do enough to help I did read the reviews prior to staying.!! But in passed experiences tell me you have to try it for yourself.
Had a good sleep, missed breakfast as i had to be on the road early to Aberdeen 8 am.

Not far from the city centre

My friend and I booked into here, for Tom Jones concert.(so prices were a wee bit inflated as you would expect)  It was a quick taxi ride, although there is a bus stop right across the road from it, ( not knowing Dundee, didn't know the bus service) We were met with a friendly smile and a welcome that made you feel you were regular visitors.  Our room was airy and clean, twin room.  Bathroom was of good size, with a shower/bath. Tea/coffee facilities, as well as iron/ironing board, hairdryer, TV. Decent size towers were left for us along with the complimentary toiletries.   Beds were fine, and we slept well.  

They were very accommodating with the concert in mind: took early check in instead of the usual afternoon ones. The restaurant next door (Sunnys) stayed open to cook meals for those of us attending the concert. and the staff there were just as friendly and helpful.

It may not look very salubrious, however, there does appear to be some works in progress,

8 night stay and couldn't fault the multi functional manager.

Me and my wife planned to stay longer but because of the attitude my wife received was appauling the staff were very pleasant but the owner(Vinesh) I'm sure he introduced himself to me as, was very rude and made.my wife extremely uncomfortable so we went to another hotel shame because apart from that it was okay!!!

Hotel itself was pleasant enough but the owner has a clear problem with women he was EXTREMELY disrespectful to my wife

Stayed here 1 night and I would advise other DO NOT BOTHER .
Noise from other residents was terrible in all I think we managed 2hrs sleep in total due to noise of people talking constantly, people shouting and swearing then at 03.45 someone let the fire alarm off ,all be it it was a short burst of 2 rings it still happened .
Only 1 cup in room only 1 towel which was paper thin and not very clean. Water not very warm decor needs attention .
On the only plus side the restuarant next door Sunnys was excellent food amazing staff and very reasonably priced portion sizes huge .

Atrocious

I've been I Scotland for 10 days and have only stayed at small private hotels, rooms averaging 50-70pds a night mostly with breakfast included.  Have had really good experiences until tonight. 

The only positive, the tub has recent been replaced. However, the towels that were left are dingy, pulling and I won't be showering as they don't look or feel clean. 

I am afraid to go barefoot the tile in the bathroom has been updated, but the carpeting looks older than the building. 

The worse part of this is that room wreaks of stale cigarette smoke. Unfortunately I paid in advance, had I seen the room prior would have never stayed at any price - yes, even free. Stay away.
