Hafod Elwy Hall - Farm

Firstly as we travelled down the track from the road as we arrived we were greeted by the lovely warm smile from Sam, who runs the campsite along with Grant. Then after parking we checked out the Pod, it was in a lovely wooded area, with a nice little balcony. The pod is bare, so you need to take airheads, sleeping bags and pillows, there is electricity though. We sorted our equipment and supplies from the car. After setting up camp, we had a nice chat with Tony, Sam's father and a really nice guy, he told us some of the history of this amazing place. We later went for a walk around the site and found a field straight down to the left of the main site, where if you holler or shout out, you will hear an incredible echo around the valleys. The landscape is stunning, and the site has lots of areas where you can get you own little bit of magic. We had a great night with a fire, barbecue and a few beers. Just before retiring, we noticed we had a few neighbours in the form of sheep and Rams... We only stayed 1 night, but wish we had stayed more... We will be back to do just that...
