Thorntrees Bed and Breakfast

This was our third night on our coast to coast walk. The owner, Roz, is very friendly and helpful. She greeted us on checkin around 4:30 and showed us to a heated drying room at the back of the building where our wet gear could dry. The room was nicely decorated and reasonably sized with a nice bathroom. The b+b does not have a restaurant but there is a tea-room next door and two pubs with restaurants within a short walk. Roz gives you a key to get back in after walking back from the pub - take a torch. The b+b is right on the coast to coast path on no extra walking! If you arrive early, the tearoom next door is very good, we even managed a quick pint at one of the pubs before check in. The breakfast was excellent with fruit, yoghurt and a good choice of freshly cooked breakfasts. Recommended
