Was a last minute long weekend break and Portclew ticked all the boxes. My room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was top notch.Stunning location.

This is a lovely old house run by a very friendly and welcoming family. We used it as our base for walking the coastal path. They serve a good breakfast but for dinning you have to travel further afield. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful! This is a beautiful country house, set in a stunning location in the heart of Pembrokeshire. The service provided by the owners was first class and made us immediately feel at home. The breakfast was top notch and set us up well for our daily excursions. The location is perfect, with easy access to many local attractions including Tenby and Saundersfoot. The local beaches are stunning too. This was my first visit to Wales and it did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

This was an excellent situation for exploring Pembrokeshire. The breakfast was really good. The checkin process is seamless - you just grab an envelope with your name on it at the entrance. 

The room was comfortable and had a large bathroom with toiletries. 

The only negatives were that it was impossible to reach the host and there was no iron in the room,

Great location

We have just got back from a week in Pembrokeshire, staying at Portclew Coach House. We were a group of 3 couples and a singleton. The accommodation was perfect for us, very clean, all bedrooms had en-suite which was important to us. The lounge had 3 large sofas, so lots of room for us all, and the kitchen was huge, again with plenty of seating. Small details, the welcome pack, the fact there was enough dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, loo rolls, etc for the whole week, tin foil etc. There is a nice grass area which table and chairs as well.
The owners were really helpful and friendly, always on hand if needed, helping one evening to rescue a bat who snuck in to a bedroom. 
The house was well situated, walking distance to Freshwater East beach and the Freshwater Inn, and driving distance to wonderful coastal walks. 
We would definitely return, and would recommend  Portclew, which has a number of holiday homes and also B&B.

Booked a one night stay here over Easter . My friend and I spent the day walking the beautiful scenic Pembrokeshire coast and arrived at Portclew House .We drove up to this beautiful planted garden in front of this gorgeous house - plenty of parking , very peaceful and serene . Sheryl greeted us and she couldn’t have been more welcoming, gentle and friendly . We had two separate rooms that we both stunning - huge, clean and warm. Beautifully decorated and large Georgian windows over looking the garden .I had booked a meal at a local pub and Sheryl gave us clear directions for walking there . The next morning we went down for breakfast , so much choice and really good quality , perfectly cooked food ….. amazing . If you have any dietary requirements - you will be more than catered for. We absolutely loved our very short stay - the ‘recharge’ we desperately needed. Can’t thank Sheryl and her partner enough for their outstanding hospitality . They really have created a wonderful , blissful sanctuary. 10/10

I was booked in by my company as I was working in the area.
When I was told it was a b&b, I wondered about how professional the owners would be. 
I found that the place is run like a top end fully fledged hotel, yet with all the personal touches you get from a small family run B&B. 
It looks like a mini stately home and the interior matches.
The room has everything you could need and is all turned over and re-stocked daily whilst you are out.
The breakfast is perfect, and the owners make sure that they take time to chat about your day, etc.
I would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful country house bear the sea. 

I’ve stayed at Portclew house twice, it’s been my go to hotel, I’m all booked again in November and I’m sure I will be there in many more times to come. Very clean and tidy, there’s a small amount of rooms there so it’s not over busy with people walking/running around. Room is serviced everyday if asked ( option not to ) the views are nice and the surrounding area is well maintained and looks nice. Highly recommend

Very comfortable 3 night stay. Fabulous breakfast, really well looked after by Cheryl. Rooms very comfortable and value for money. Excellent accommodation and location. We stayed in main house with b and b, but there are self catering cottages on site as well. Attractive property and gardens  with lots of parking. Would stay again.

Excellent stay

We stayed in The Bullpen, a 2 bed self catering cottage in the grounds. It was just what we wanted for a week. Great location, quiet, awesome  WiFi, really clean cottage with everything you need. Would highly recommend this little place, especially if you have children and a car as you are close to so much and yet have peace and quiet at night.

Good value rooms that were nicely kept and within walking distance of a pub which served food and the beach - although a steep walk back!  Breakfasts were generous and the owners were friendly.  The views from the bedrooms over the garden and across the sweeping landscape were great.  There was ample parking and it felt like being at home.

Really nice stay

A lovely traditional building with nice spacious bedrooms. Stayed here for three nights and room was replenished daily with tea and coffee and fresh towels (if needed). Breakfast was delicious and service was very prompt and friendly. Close to Freshwater East beach and not far from other delightful beaches (by car). Would definitely recommend a stay here. They also have cottages attached for larger bookings.
