St Davids Vacation Club

Pembrokeshire and St Davids has been on my visit list for many years and we finally made the trip down there for a four-night stay. St Davids is delightful, tucked away on its peninsular with the sea only a couple of miles in several directions. The beaches are superb and the hottest summer in years and years meant we could just head over, stare at the horizon, listen to the sea and completely clear our heads. Pete and Jane at Bryn Awel were also superb in lots of ways. On arrival after they had helped us with our luggage, we sat down in the living room with a pot of tea and a welcome chat and as this was our first visit, Jane took the time to tell us all about the area, what to see and do and how to get about. Throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble and we really were made to feel at home. The room was extremely comfortable and perfect for what we wanted. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of cereals, fruit and freshly-cooked items to start our day. The B&B is only a short walk from all the shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and the cathedral, yet really quiet on a night. We really can't thank Pete and Jane enough for looking after us and making us feel so welcome. We would absolutely stay with them again.
