Had the best solo trip here! Amazing price and facilities and stunning views. Very relaxing thank you. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. I’m not sure if it was because I went out of season or mid week but the price is unmatched.

Stunning accommodation, view and resort. The concierge and spa topped this to be the best lodge stay I have experienced. Would 100% recommend and rerun. The interior was lovely and clean. Very spacious and had all the electrical equipment. The village had lovely restaurants also which isn’t a far walk away. I would say that this report would be more suitable for couple,la and friend groups more than families.

Stayed here for the first time January of 2025 and I could not recommend this place enough!

My partner and I are twenty and we don’t enjoy anything more than a quiet, relaxing getaway. This was a last minute booking and it was 100% the right decision.

We stayed in one of the Ferry Hill accommodations and our room was fantastic! Incredible size kitchen which included a large fridge/freezer, dish washer, oven, washing machine, coffee machine and all the utensils you could think of and more! 
Comfortable sofas, dining table inside and out. It definitely felt like a home from home!
Bedrooms were made up to a very good standard and even smelt amazing. Bathrooms were lovely and clean with plenty of towels and shower products provided.
The only disadvantage I can say throughout our stay was that in the master bedroom we had a very loud radiator making what I can describe as a ‘clicking noise’ which kept my partner up. It was lucky enough that we had that second bedroom to which we had to move to early hours of the morning…

The resort itself is lovely and quiet. Plenty of walks around if that’s what you’re into and overall just stunning scenery.
Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The resort is based on a hill so if you were someone who struggles to walk there is a concierge service available throughout the day. 
I’d absolutely recommend a trip to the pool, jacuzzi and sauna as it’s no extra cost! Throughout the day the swim times are mostly adults only, so if you’re looking for quiet times then be sure to check with reception the adult times.
We didn’t take a trip to the gym this time around but the machines looked very good quality and lovely set up.
We also did not book any spa treatments as these were simply way out of our budget but if it’s affordable for you then I’d say go for it! 

Unfortunately during our stay the restaurant was not serving food so we’re definitely excited to try out the restaurant when we return. On a Monday we did try out a local cafe called Stone Range Cafe which was about an 8 minute drive from the resort which I’d really recommend for breakfast or lunch if you weren’t looking to cook. Reasonably priced and lovely staff.

Overall I would 100% recommend Dylan’s Coastal resort. We will be definitely taking a trip back when we are in need of a getaway. Lovely, relaxing, reasonably priced resort which I think is perfect for all ages!

The Dylan resort is an absolute gem with breathtaking views. Lodges are pure luxury.staff are just so friendly and the pool &spa along with the restaurant are simply amazing . The concierge are just so helpful. They'll pick you up from your lodge if you don't want to walk and take you back in a moment . An absolute lovely break in the most beautiful location

Just come back from an excellent stay at Dylan Coastal resorts. 
We stayed at the Ferry Hills and the view from the property was incredible. 
The ladies behind the reception are lovely and really helpful. 

Free access to the spa facilities is a real selling point and one of the main reasons that we will book again. Took our 2 little boys swimming every morning and we even took it in turns to spend a few hours in the evening using the sauna, steam room and pool without the children. 

loved it so much I plan on going back and taking the grandparents so we can use the facilities more as a couple. 


Have stayed here a few times as a family and we absolutely love it! It is so relaxing, quiet and the accommodation and facilities are amazing. I had a facial with Caragh and she was so professional and friendly..it was the best facial i have had in a very long time. Hope to come back again soon.

Wow, what a fantastic resort in a great location. Family of 5 with a dog had a great break in Jan 24. We stayed in a dog friendly lodge which was immaculate. The pool and facilities were amazing. Great little village in walking distance too. Great holiday!

Wanted to say a massive thank you to Cody who worked in the milk wood restaurant. She was super lovely and welcoming. Always wanted to help and nothing was too big an ask! Had a few laughs over having the same name, would definitely recommend her and will come again for sure!

Top quality dining experience.Big thank you to Ronnie , head chef and a most helpful waiting staff.Excellent choice and variety.My family thoroughly enjoyed a superb evening.I shall be only too ready to go again.

Ate here on Monday 20th Feb with my father, husband and two children.
The restaurant was lovely - spacious, clean and warm. The decor was very tasteful.
The service from the moment we got there was excellent.
And the food… wow!
We had a first class meal. 
The children ate chicken nuggets and pizza from the children’s menu.
My husband had the chicken Swarma which was absolutely delicious.
My father had the belly pork which was cooked to perfection.
I ate the king prawns which I would highly recommend. 
We all ate pudding and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful.
To end the meal, we indulged in espresso martini which again was perfect.
An absolutely delightful experience all around and we will absolutely be booking again. Thank you to all the staff and head chef Ronnie. It really was excellent!

Ferry Hills at Dylan Coastal Resort

A faultless 3 night stay at Dylan Coastal resort, stayed in Milkwood Spa lodges. Clean, comfortable and stylish. The staff here are professional and friendly. It’s the view that does it though, it really is something else! The facilities are excellent, a recently updated Spa which makes full use of the incredible location. Loads of luxurious touches. I treated myself to a treatment too which was wonderful. Laugharne is a beautiful village, lots of lovely walks and welcoming residents. We will be back without a doubt.

Gorgeous mini-break with great facilities

We stayed as a couple in a Dylan Lodge which was stunning. The view was amazing and the lodge was a luxury experience included dishwasher and washing machine and very cosy. Hot Tub was great and we relaxed taking in the beautiful view. The spa/ pool facilities amazing however would have like to have experienced a longer adult only session as a challenge to relax in the amazing spa when crowded with families and an hour isn’t quite long enough for an adult session to maximise the experience.Would definitely return and recommend a Dylan lodge.

Dylan lodge

Wow! What an amazing 4 nights at Dylan Coastal Resort. We were booked in a Dylan lodge and despite some difficulties in finding the lodge (note to management, better signage & map is a must!) once we did we were super impressed. Amazing views in a lodge that is equipped with everything you need. Super comfy & cosy so when the Welsh weather took a turn for the worst we were quite happy to spend the day in the lodge relaxing. We made the most of the incredible gym & pool facilities and enjoyed the milk wood restaurant & bar. On our final night shortly after arriving at the restaurant our son became ill & every single member of staff couldn’t do enough to assist us, we arranged to take the food back to our lodge & Richard was amazing in sorting out the concierge to take us back up the hill and making sure we had everything we needed. Overall we have had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending. Thank you to everyone at Dylan Coastal resort.

Fabulous break

I have just returned from a 4 night family break staying at one of the Ferry Hill Lodges.  Overall we had a wonderful time to relax and enjoy the fresh air and spectacular views.
The accommodation was extremely well furnished with a contemporary feel.  The upstairs bedroom area was the highlight of the lodge; the downstairs living room/kitchen area was a little cramped and more suited to a couple.   
 Everyone at the resort is extremely friendly, we loved using the spa and made good use of this facility.  Unfortunately the weather was too wet to use the tennis court.  We had Sunday lunch at the restaurant and was impressed by the quality of the food.
We did have to contact reception on arrival via text and phone.  This process was rather painful and not all the niggles were resolved hence why I have rated the experience 4 stars rather than 5.  Nevertheless, I do recommend this resort and I would not hesitate to return! Additional constructive comments are given below which I hope management will find useful particularly as the resort continues to expand.
Points to Note:
In general the lodge was cleaned to a high standard however the finishing touches were missed.  The indoor mat to the lodge was not hoovered, a pot full of cigarette ends was left inside (which is not appreciated by non-smoking guests), litter seen directly outside of the lodge.
The bottle of tattinger was missing on arrival and took 2 texts & 2 phone calls with a 2 hour wait before it was delivered.
A complimentary bottle of wine was delivered the next morning which was appreciated.
In my opinion the spa is the highlight of the resort.  However, it appears that families with young children are given priority to use and abuse this facility as there are only 2 one-hour slots assigned as adults only access.  There are large floats and swim tubes permanently in the pool which makes it extremely difficult for adults to swim during normal swim times.  Young children also treat the outdoor jacuzzi as another swimming pool which makes it difficult for adults to relax.  
During the second half of our stay we were woken up early by the sound of machinery below the lodge (may have been fans/heating units next to Milkwood lodge?).  This is extremely disappointing as I requested a lodge in the quiet area of the resort at the time of booking.



Wow, enjoy the view!

We booked into the restaurant for Sunday lunch. We had a 3 courses and each course was well presented and delicious  - served by friendly and attentive staff. 
The restaurant is very spacious with amazing views over the estuary. 
All in all a lovely experience set in a stunning location.
