I have no complaints.

 An immaculate B@B and lovely village. 10 out of 10.

The interior decorations were superb as was the garden.

My room and bathroom could not be faulted - very high standard.

Great breakfast cooked as requested with plenty of choices..

Mark was a very friendly and helpful host. Will be back when next in the area.

Wonderful, comfortable stay in Ruth & Mark’s lovely house. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a great breakfast with fresh homemade bread the following morning.  Cheriton is a great location for walkers and cyclists with a friendly local pub, The Flower Pots, just down the road and the picturesque city of Winchester very close by. 

We stayed for one night after returning from France via Portsmouth. Excellent hosts, accommodation and breakfast.  Good off road parking. Walking distance to the Flower Pots Inn where an excellent meal was had with good real ale brewed on site. Mark and Ruth hosted us and, if you want to learn about baking sourdough bread, you can book a course with Mark. Highly recommended for a stay, with lots to do and see in the area.

We stayed at the Brick House for two nights to go to Winchester Christmas Market and also visit Jane Austen's House in nearby Chawton. The owners Mark and Ruth are great and it was lovely to chat with them about the house and the local area. The bedroom was good with a lovely comfortable bed. Local pubs are within walking distance or if inclement weather, just a couple of minutes drive and there are a whole range of dinner options in nearby Arlesford.  The breakfast on offer was very varied from croissants and jams, variety of cereals and fresh fruit and a cooked breakfast too. We took advantage of them all over the two days!  We want to go back and explore more of the national park area that we realised we had never known about so a summer trip is on the cards.  We would really happily recommend the Brick House.

The Brick House is one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in!!! Our bedroom and en suite were immaculately presented and spotlessly clean with a lovely view over the garden. Downstairs is just as well presented and with the benefit of good weather we enjoyed the open-air modern extension to the kitchen. Mark is a fabulous host, seemingly nothing is too much trouble, he even went to the trouble of cooking us a sourdough pizza for dinner as the excellent local brewery pub, The Flower Pots, recently re-opened after 'lockdown", was not offering food. Cheriton is a beautiful classic English village and is perfectly situated for weekends cycling or walking and can be easily reached if you are walking the South Downs Way or the Wayfarer Walk. The Flower Pots as a brewery pub serves its own brews. Excellent service and really great beer. Mark also runs sourdough baking courses so we hope to be back soon. If you want a B&B that is both welcoming and perfect, choose the Brick House.

We were looking for somewhere to stay so we could go to the Flowerpots up the road for my partner's birthday and The Brickhouse turned out to be an excellent choice. It was our first stay since the start of lockdown so we wanted to get it right. It's a lovely old house which has been beautifully decorated with a stunning garden surrounded by woodland. On the first night Mark made us delicious homemade sourdough pizzas. He was the perfect host, both very friendly and welcoming but also leaving us in peace to enjoy the surroundings. The room was perfect and overlooked the garden with a very comfortable bed and the breakfast was served with a choice of homemade bread (Mark also runs a bakery school!). We would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful home in this lovely rural village and definitely try the pizzas! Thank you!

We were made immediately welcome by Mark and Ruth when arriving at Brick House. The house was originally a public house therefore there is a sense of space and the bedrooms reflect this feeling of space  as they are plenty big enough.The rooms are fresh clean and are pleasantly decorated the beds large and comfy.
Breakfast was served by Mark who also cooks his own bread which is a good thing or bad depending on your waist line but there is a full choice for breakfast so the decision is yours!
Outside there is adequate parking and the house is on a not too busy road. A personal bonus for me is that both Mark and Ruth are active cyclists which is a passion I love to share.

We had a lovely one night’s stay at the Brick House. The room was very comfortable and the en-suite bathroom very stylish with an excellent shower. Such a variety of items offered at breakfast certainly set us up for the day. Cereals, fresh fruit, home made bread (absolutely delicious) and a broad range of items for the cooked breakfast. The breakfast room overlooking the beautiful garden certainly made the whole experience memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay with you and wished we could have stayed longer. 

We stayed here while attending a wedding and the house is truly beautiful with all the comforts you would need to include an ensuite bathroom, ample closet space, and an extremely comfortable bed. You have to leave your shoes at the door, but believe me, your feet will love the feel of the plush carpet. We enjoyed a homecooked breakfast the next morning and a lovely chat with the owners as well to get a backstory on their home and their lives. Modernly decorated, and well looked after.

We had a wonderful stay here. Very comfortable room with bathroom designated for our use only alongside our room. Mark and Ruth were perfect hosts and made us so welcome in their home with everything we could possibly need. Excellent bed. Superb breakfast, absolutely delicious and catering for all tastes. All idyllic, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it.
