We stayed here last week what a lovely welcome ,Mark and Jeannie could not be better hosts. Nothing was to much trouble. Would recommend you stop here if you are in the area will be back again. Well worth the 5 out if 5.

We have just returned from our second visit to manor farm. We enjoyed it so much once again. The room was spacious, clean and had a very comfy bed. Breakfast as usual was superb. Freshly ground coffee and delicious cooked breakfast. We have booked to go again next year, can't wait.

We stayed here for one night after a late arrival and were delighted to find friendly hosts and a well equipped beautifully appointed bedroom . Our first room in weeks to include a fridge with real milk as well as some complimentary chocolates , chocolate bars, water and a small bottle of wine. If only it hadn't been so late we would have fully appreciated them in the lovely gardens . A full breakfast was prepared for us in the morning and the opportunity to have a wander around the large garden, pond and summer house. A delightful B&B with its own mill stream on a very quiet hedge lined rural lane. A wonderful overnight in quintessential English countryside. 


Wonderful place, beautiful room, delicious breakfast, superb conversation. Ok sounds too good to be true, but it wasn't. This is a top top place to go. If you are resin this review then stop thinking, just book it.

Simply stunning

Booked a 2 night last minute break based on the excellent reviews about breakfast. Either the ownership of Manor Farm has changed or they are fleecing the customer with budget breakfast ingredients.

Cheap budget orange juice, no muesli available & on the second breakfast just packets of Special K. When we asked for other cereal options we were given Tesco budget cornflakes which were stale.

The fruit salad was on the turn day one & unpleasant to eat, & it returned day 2 with added fruit. The sausages were cheap, as was the bacon, & the poached eggs were overdone & the toast burnt. The filter coffee was cheap & bitter.

It was a pity, because the rooms were spotless with good beds & mattress. The wi-fi did not work either. However we expect fresh countryside ingredients not below par budget breakfast items poorly executed in the kitchen.

Overall a huge disappointment & it felt like we were being ripped off. We will not be returning.
