Hadrian Hotel - Inn

I came with my friend to celebrate her 40th birthday. A real treat for us both. My friend is vegan so I let the team know in advance so they could cater for her. I was intrigued to see how they would do 15 courses of vegan which I know can be a challenge. We booked the overnight stay as well. Very warm and friendly greeting and this continued throughout our experience. Every single staff member was warm, knowledge and with clear passion for what they are doing. I won't bore you with every detail of the meal we had, wouldn't want to spoil any details for anyone going but I can say it was absolutely sensational from start to finish, highlights for me were the taco, and the sweetbreads but out of 15 items there wasn't a single one I didn't enjoy. Each presented beautifully and explained with such enthusiasm. My friend loved her vegan menu, it's quite incredible what can be achieved with vegetables and other vegan items, I would have happily eaten all of those things myself and wouldn't feel like I was missing out on anything. The additional treat for her birthday was also very much appreciated. We also had the mixed pairing and all were superb, who knew non alcoholic options could be so inventive. The wines were excellent as well, we had different drinks since we had different menus, attention to detail exceptional. Our stay overnight was very comfortable and breakfast the next day was also a real treat, very unique offerings, such a nice change. Overall very very impressed. I intend to return again with my husband for our next special occasion
