Yesterday on the Ministerial visit to Dava to review the damage of the wildfire at the last minute, we booked afternoon tea for seven.  The afternoon tea was excellent and both Bright Spark Burning Techniques and SLE offered to pay, they said it was their thank you for the work the gamekeepers had done as if the fire hadn't been contained, they may have had to close their business.  A huge show of appreciation for the local land workers.  Thank you .

Clean and tidy hotel No issues with anything

Thank you very much we had a great stay here. The staff were super friendly, the room was clean and modern, easy parking and the breakfast was 10/10. Highly recommended!

We had to book this hotel at the last minute and they were ready and waiting for us. Checkin was easy. The rooms we were allocated were reasonable, clean and well kept. Bathroom had a shower but no bath. We dined in the hotel which was fine. Service and meals were excellent. The hotel is a stopping place for bus tours but bus tour parties are segregated from paying guests so there was no problem there. The location is quiet. Sleep quality very good. About 30 minutes drive from Inverness but that was not a problem. Recommended.

Hotel opened up for travellers stuck in the A9 Snow blockage.
Hotel staff really friendly and pleasant. Breakfast lovely.

We (my Mum, her best friend, my aunt and myself) attended for a long weekend for The Hot Country  TV country music and dancing event.
There was nothing I could fault or critique.
Our rooms were lovely, large, well decorated and spotlessly clean. Beds were so comfortable that I was asleep within minutes of turning out the light.
The social areas were beautifully decorated with a variety of seating arrangements and log burning stoves.
The food was delicious. We had a buffet breakfast, and a 3 course dinner with coffee. The sausages at breakfast were the best... for 2 of my breakfasts I just made sausage sandwiches with white bread and mustard.
The owners, Colin and Theresa were onsite the whole weekend. Lovely people, friendly, caring and so very helpful
 Their daughter also worked on reception, didn't get her name, but lovely girl, hard working, efficient and always friendly and approachable.
On our last night, my aunt fell and hurt her wrist. Colin and Theresa both attended to give first aid and help with contacting the Out of hours NHS24. When we got home to our local hospital,  turns out she had a small fracture and is now in a plaster cast.
I give 10/10. Will be returning twice a year now for this event and will also be recommending to friends and family.

We arrived for a weekend of mountain biking 
Ample parking when we arrived and a fast check in.
Rooms were comfortable and warm 
Downstairs were 3 log burning fires which gave out a lovely warm ambiance to a chilly day 
We ordered supper and wow excellent food with sizeable portions,we stayed for supper the following night too it was so good.
Breakfast was 10/10 also a truly first class breakfast 
The staff were very nice to talk to and were very helpful and informative 
We will definitely return to this highland Gem

Really enjoyed our coach trip doing the railways tour.  Stayed here as part of the deal.  Unfortunately, I was getting over a chest infection and had completely lost my appitite.  I purchased a mug and a pack of cuppa soup which I found that I could keep down.  This was not a problem with the staff doing this, in fact they grabbed my mug before getting my hubs order.  Great stay.

We stayed at the hotel for five nights . Wonderful hotel lovely setting. Staff very friendly . Paula works very hard in the restaurant with only a young staff to help her . She reminded me of a lady I used to work with called Nancy . So hardworking and efficient. My hubby had to eat early because of a medical problem she always let us in early.  Rooms small but clean and everything you need. Food was good .would like to return again sometime .

Stopped for lunch between rivers. Crisp functional and friendly service. 

Food was good if a little formulaic and prices were very reasonable. Sole was good portion but could have been less dry. Will go back next time we are in transit as A9 not well served with facilities and it is not far off the beaten track.

A Huge Thank You

The room was recently refurbished, so was lovely with fresh white paint. The Highland Fine Soaps toiletries were a nice touch.However, the housekeeping was a little confusing. We stayed 3 nights. Our bed was not made after the first night but was after the second. Mugs were cleaned, but tea bags not replenished - these were easily obtained from reception. Reception were slways helpful and friendly. The BIG disappointment was the cooked breakfast. Everything had clearly been cooked hours before and kept warm. The food was lukewarm served on hot plates. The black pudding was so hard on Sunday morning that it was difficult to cut. The bacon and sausage were tough as old boots. We gave the cooked breakfast a try the second morning in case our experience was a one-off - it was a little better but still mostly inedible apart from the mushrooms and (tinned) tomato. On the third morning, we skipped breakfast and had brunch out.

Stayed for 4 nights with a coach party. We were very well looked after by the hard working staff. The head waitress was super efficient and friendly. Meals were very good and the service was impressively quick. Packed lunches were very good value. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed cocktails in the comfortable, beautifully decorated lounges.
