It’s a breath of fresh air to walk into a place greeted by a smile and professionalism, the staff here unprompted were so helpful and knowledgeable about the area especially Sharon. Thank you so much for a great experience and yes i would definitely recommend to all friends. Regards Craig

We booked two rooms at Carlisle M6.We came by 8 pm after the long travel.The staffs were very welcoming and guided us and took the car details for the parking and handed over the room keys.There was enough parking available and this Travelodge  is very close (just few steps) to 
Greg,M&S,Costa so we had our breakfast from there. Rooms were well maintained and clean  better than expected.Bed covers to the curtain blinds were clean and neat.Toilets was very clean,which would a major concern when people travel and book hotels.They were super clean So loved the stay and look forward to book again when we travel .There was no noise from inside or outside .Had a good sleep.Overall very much satisfied.

Fine for a quick stop over from Scotland fair price nice. And quite it does what it says on the tin better than paying nearly 100 would definitely stop here again staff was helpful loads to do in the service station dead handy for breakfast 

Nothing could be faulted. The value for money was exceptional. I cannot believe people who leave poor reports, there was nothing to complain about. Convenient location to break long journeys, clean and welcoming. Thank you

Clean, quiet and ideal for a one night stay over. Decent bed with Tv and clean bathroom - couldnt fault it. Food available next door in m/s, greggs uf required. Ideal for north or south bound journeys. 

Needed somewhere to stay on a trip from Cornwall to Dumbarton and this hotel fitted the bill. Not ideally situated for a North bound trip as it's awkward to access , but it is possible as a guest to use the service road from the northbound side of m6. Would be good to put this info on the website. Room was comfortable,  clean and quiet. 

Much better than we expected! All was clean and well maintained. The room was quite spacious with a comfy bed, a couple of easy chairs and enough storage and horizontal surfaces.  TV and hot drink making facilities.  Great shower.  And pet friendly 🐕🐕! (Although the dogs cost as much as we did!)

No restaurant but a quick walk over to the services gives you a choice of shops for general groceries etc and alcohol plus Greggs and Burgerking for fast food.

Definitely great for a stopover and would be manageable for a longer stay - although having Greggs or Burgerking for meals might be tedious.

 
Minor points - No USB socket?  No socket by the bed. Sound insulation between floors could have been better (although I suppose it depends who is in the room above and what they are doing 🤣)

I have stayed here a few times this last year because I’ve been working next door. 
All the staff from reception to cleaners are always happy and helpful. 
The rooms are basic but they are clean and well set out with all I need for my night.  
It’s no frills but I only want a shower and bed, never hear any traffic which is strange with it being so close to the motorway

Convenient place to break our journey, just off the motorway. Room was clean and comfortable. Reception welcoming and helpful with recommendations for places to have an evening meal including making a reservation for us.

Ideal Place to Rest .

Good location and excellent value.

En route up to Scotland we stopped overnight at this Travelodge.
Rate of £26.99 was great, service from reception staff was very good, their recommendation of the local pub was excellent.
Free car parking, bedroom was clean and spacious and had everything we needed to get a good nights rest.
Beware that this hotel is on the southbound side of the M6 so to access from the northbound carriage way follow directions on hotels website.  You go through a few no entry signs but all perfectly clear if you read the directions provided.

The location is excellent and the hotel itself is quite decent; value for the money; room maintenance could be improved, overall the room was clean; we expected more pillows within a family room but only 2 were provided; the soap and shower dispensers were almost empty, so these things must be checked.

M6 stay

Lovely staff, very welcoming, beds were very comfortable and the Internet and heating worked as it should. Very quiet which is what we wanted. Very comfortable sleep. It was also close to where we needs to be so it was ideal for us. Will definitely stay again.
