The Tower Hotel

We arrived early for our two night stay and an offer of bag storage was quickly followed with our room being ready, our bag was taken up for us which was great. We were lucky to purchase a refundable street parking permit but there is a carpark almost opposite anyway with a charge. We sat in the busy bar area which had a lovely atmosphere with clearly lots of locals having pre Christmas drinks and food. The room was comfortable and clean, ours was a double our friends had a twin room as booked and they also shared it was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious on both mornings with good fresh coffee. The staff were friendly and efficient. The only down point was the room was really hot, so we opened the window which we had to close as there was noise outside on the Friday night when visitors had moved out to the covered area to finish drinks or smoke, they were loud and at almost 1.20am it wasn’t really ok.
